Sampled at Maple Shade Location.

A: A copper penny pour is topped off by a creamy modest head that was off white in color. The effervesce is very light. The lacing is thick sticky and frothy around the top band, while generously coating the remainder of the glass with a thin skim coating.

S: Malt sweetness is evident upfront along with a flowery and orange hopping.

T: The flavor starts off with an Americanized level of bitterness to a British classic. The English target hops lend a very noticeable and flowery presence with a soft herbal and earthy appeal. The malting is the highlight here as it should, an almost starchy character of powdered dried caramel. There is a mild sweetness that manages to sneak through briefly. The bitterness is amped up a bit but blends beautifully with the malt and finishes with some dry hop character.

M: The body is light, with gentle creaminess. Soft dried malting and flowery bitterness gently coats the tongue on the close.

D: An English style session with an American infused level of hoppiness gives this a good shot of bitterness, much more so then its counterpart across the pond but still makes for an effortlessly downed session drink. Growler worthy.
