Had this in Newark a while back but it had to make it into the beer journal, kinda shocked to see it on BA. Had quite a few pints of this on tap.
A: Poured a beautiful dark black with a big, creamy almost tan head. Coats the glass.
S: Roasted malts, cream, lactose, chocolate, smoke.
T: Roasted malt, chocolate, a touch of hazelnut, and creamy milk.
M: Creamy and thick. Carbonation was light. Coats the mouth.
D: This was a winter specialty and it was amazing. It was this beer that kept me from trying all of the beers they currently had on tap. Wish I could have taken it with me and very sad to see it retired.

Had this seasonal on tap- the pint came and the brew was dark black with an amazing cascading head, excellent carbonation. Great stout aroma, roasted malts, sweet floral, some chocolate. The taste was great, comprised of a nice caramel then a nutty malt character ending on the tangy sweet milky note. Perfect representation of its type, with a heavy creamy mouthfeel and satisfying sweetness.
