From the website: A pale German-style, light-bodied wheat beer with a refreshing tart, acidic character balanced with Celtic sea salt and coriander
Brewed in Collaboration with Columbia Kettle Works
This was the 3rd annual homebrew contest winner -best of show in Lancaster brewed by Mike Degrace
served chilled in a wheat glass.
The color is hazed golden with thin white head with visible carbonation and fine bead with lace film and decent retention. The smell is good with slight sour and mild grain aroma with hint of funk but not quite vegetal with tangy light hint of lemon. The feel is very good with cirsp tangy and lightly salty texture with medium high carbonation and slight tinge of saltiness with malt and bone-dry finsih.
The taste is tangy with lemony sourness and light grain flavor up front with slight salt coming through late in the taste with dry grainy accent and lingering sour flavor with mineral dry finish pucker inducing but not over the top. This is one of the best
I think this might be the best of this style I have tried yet...very refreshing and noticeable salt in the flavor not just all sour- a great way to enjoy a sunny spring day, very interesting collaboration with Columbia kettle works
