Review from old notes I took during the sour/funky event at the Lancaster location last year. The brew appears a hazed brown color with khaki to yellowish creamy topping.
Aroma of brine, vinegar, slight soy, molasses and earth. Quite bright, sharp and unique smelling for a bruin. The taste is mighty acedic with brine and vinegar. Some sour cherry and earthen aspects. Its very much on point for the style but maybe a little raw and too harsh for my own liking.
This is medium bodied and modestly carbonated. A very sharp and sour offering that fits the bill but beyond what i can enjoy more than a couple oz of. I can see some sour heads really digging this but it was a bit much.
