look: 4 | smell: 3.5 | taste: 3.5 | feel: 3.5 | overall: 3
Presentation: 12oz brown bottle. No freshness date.
Appearance: Somewhat cloudy golden / amber colored beer topped with a smooth, thick and creamy head. Retention is excellent as is the stick to the glass.
Smell: Ever so light diacetyl / caramel, soft apples, grass (phenolic) and notes of a broken green tree in the nose.
Taste: Rough mouthfeel, with apple-skin and a prickly carbonation. Palate creams up from the carbonation, smoothing things out a bit. Dusty malts, with a slightly fruity sweetness and underlying maltiness and some diacetyl way back in the end. Sharp-ish citric twang, light oils on the edges of the palate and a leafy roughness. Dry finish with more apple-skin in the feel, to the point of being a bit annoying.
Notes: Not a bad beer for a Ringwood brewed IPA. Oddly tasty with and old-world feel about it -- don't ask me why.

look: 4 | smell: 3.5 | taste: 3.5 | feel: 4.5 | overall: 3.5
Presentation: 12 oz brown bottle with no freshness date.
Appearance: Very fine bubbly lace sticks all over the place. Clear and pale tawny color.
Smell: Faint citrus and grassy hop with hints of tobacco. Dusty diacetyl with some honey like sweetness from the malt.
Taste & Mouth Feel: Expressively smooth with a layered medium body. Pungent hops within the pale malt base, which gets lost though the diacetyl does as well. Hop bitterness lingers for a good while with mild citric and earthy tones.
Drinkability & Notes: An above par English style IPA. Middle of the pack from what I have experienced but good none the less.

A-Cloudy orange, two finger head, some carbonation.
S-Dirt, pine but not in a good way.
T-Same dirt, pine and grass notes but there is something off putting in there. A tad bit of bitterness. Malt is there, some caramel, not balanced. Possibly metallic?
M-Medium bodied, some carbonation
O-The balance ins't there, the dirt and pine are off as well. An IPA not worth seeking out.

Pretty dry hopped to be an English IPA.
A - Hazy light amber in color with a half inch of sticky white head that laces pretty well along the glass.
S - Smells of moderate floral and piney hops with a very mid sweet malts.
T - Well it's kind of unbalanced in the hop department, not that's it's not enjoyable it's just lacing in the balance of the finishing leaving a gritty pine taste on the palate.
M - Medium bodied and hoppy with slightly acidic tones.
Overall it's a nice bitter IPA but nothing I would want to seek out again.

Pours a hazy golden amber. Pours with a tall head but fast fading. The head is white and soapy looking. Carbonation is pretty aggressive.
Aroma is pretty good for an EIPA; light hops and caramel malts. There are low levels of diaceyl in the taste, not an issue here.Light fruitiness just before the finish. Finish is tart and dry. Medium in weight smooth drinking with a clean finish.
Overall its a good beer. I think its a bit too tart for an EIPA.
