The tab says Fall Gruit. Must be new, and worth a try. Medium amber with a slight skim head. No lace.
Nice herby complexity here. There's something here that I cannot put my finger on....Thyme? Rosemary? But it is prevalent. Very very herbal note along with some grassy and pine notes.
Tasty gruit. Some light bitter pine and herby notes up front. The malt is lightly toasted and really supports the spice nicely. Beer dries out and bitterness comes up. Malt and herbs finish in the palate. Just right.
Medium body, some tingly carbonation.
Nice beer. Not sure if you could do pint after pint, but tasty for the style. had this with some steamed mussels and this fit wonderfully.
Serving type: on-tap
