Poured this American Pale Wheat Ale in a pint glass, served on tap at the brewery. It pours a slightly hazy golden/copper color. It produced a thin white head, decent retention and lacing. The aroma smells of pale malt and a slight trace of honey and citrus. Light in body, this ale has a malted grain backbone, tastes of citrus, soft wheat and a trace of honey. Overall this is a below average brew, weak aroma, body, and taste. Not one that I will be ordering again.

Had this on tap at the brewery.
A: Golden in color; hazy, unfiltered look.
S: Sweet, grainy, honey smell
T: Low hop taste, honey malt. Low bitterness.
M: Smooth, crisp. Pretty light. Medium carbonation.
O: Not a bad a beer. Nice spring/summer outside beer.

The final beer review from this trip, with a stop at Morgan Street Brewery in St Louis.
Golden color and a bit hazy, not a lot of head or lace.
Great yeastiness, malty with light spices. Not a lot of honey.
Body was nice, pretty good for a wheat ale and quite easy to drink.
It's not an outstanding wheat but it ain't bad either.

A buddy brought me this growler from work trip.
A: Pours a great orange color with a thick tan cap of foam on top.
S: Slightly bready, some honey and pale malts.
T: Sweet malts and honey, also some citrus notes in there.
M: Medium to light and on the lighter side of that.
O: Very drinkable and look forward to another trip there for more more beer.

Pours a hazy, golden color. 1/3 inch head of a white color. Great retention and great lacing. Smells of pale malt, slight honey, strong grain, and slight citrus. Fits the style of an American Pale Wheat Ale. Mouth feel is smooth and clean with a low carbonation level. Tastes of slight citrus, strong grain, hint of honey, pale malt, and a hint of wheat. Overall, good feel and appearance, but weak in body and aroma.

Spring beer to go with Cardinal baseball - decent summer session brew. Pours a hazy golden yellow, low level white head. Light aroma of malted wheat in the aroma and taste, along with easy hints of the sweet honey.
Crisp and clean brew, although it did have just a touch of harshness in the finish. But not enough to really distract from the overall good flavor. I could drink this one all afternoon with no problem.

girlfriend ordered this one here we go
has an average looking light golden color to it without much of a head on it
smell is dominated by wheat, little else gets through, no honey at all
taste is decent again no honey but still a decent hefe
mouthfeel is a bit watery but not surprisingly
drinkability is high, not too strong but plenty good

Reviewed 11/14/2008 (Tap sampler @ Morgan Street Brewery, St. Louis, MO):
Pours a light yellow body, a little dark yellow. With a small white head, that is somewhat diminishing. Has an aroma of some hay, but overall clean. Not much aroma, somewhat weakish. Same hay in the taste, has a wheaty aftertaste. Clean watery palate. Some bitter, almost acidic. Better taste than the aroma.

Sample at the brewpub. This brew is a clear golden color with a thin white head that diminishes steadily. Spotty lacing. Mild wheat and honey aroma. Light-bodied and mild with wheat, honey and subtle hops flavor. The finish is bubbly and lightly hoppy but short-lived. Overall this is not worth revisiting.

on tap poured into a pub glass at the brewpub in St. Louis. pours a clear amber color with a half finger of white head, moderate lacings and mild retention.
aroma is light and bready, with pale malts and a distinct honey-sweetness. rather ethereal in the nose.
taste is of light grain with the same honey-sweetness from the aroma and a subtle malt base with distant caramel. the honey lingers well after the fact.
mouthfeel is light bodied and rather sweet. the aftertaste is of honey and mild grain. could be a bit less sweet overall.
drinkability is mild. this is a sweet brew that ends up relying on the honey to sustain the profile a bit too much, ending up with an overly sweet malty beverage.

Appearance- It has weizen look to it and a lot of foam.
Smell- A very light fruit, melon-banana smell.
Taste- Once again this beer was very light in flavor like a lot of their other beers. It was also more sour than bitter.
Mouthfeel. Medium with even carbonation.
Drinkability- Not horrible but could due with some more flavor to take out some of the sourness.

Part of a sample bunch, prior to the Packers/Rams game ( GO PACK!) Average hazy yellow wheat. Nothing special here. Aroma was grassy, and sweet. Flavor...seemed a bit, well, way too carbonated. Not much of a honey note detected. OK, but, not memorable.

Rough filtering with 11 micron filter leaves enough yeast to give a slightly cloudy light gold Wheat beer with a persistant white head and lace. Malty sweetness is emphasized with Weyerman Honey malt that gives a very realistic honey flavor and aroma. Medium body and higher carbonation combine to increase Mouthfeel.
The ultimate session beer with lots of flavor.

Had this beer many times on the Thursday $1 pitcher nights at Morgan Street in St. Louis. Poured into a clear glass, the appearance is somewhat cloudy with a blonde hue. If you're looking for a wheat beer that is full of flavor, try elsewhere. But if you're just looking for a nice, lightly honey-tasting and hardly aromatic brew to go with your meal or kick off a night on the town, then I recommend it.

On tap at the brew-pub. This is one of the more popular M. Street brews. Light, golden hue with a great off-white head. Very thin honey and hop based nose. Up front, this is bordering on a medium bodied beer; wheat flavorings mixed with, to no surprise, some honey. Large malt based body. Very one sided, yet easy to drink, great on a hot day plus it matches well with most meals at the pub!

This honey wheat poured to give a cloudy, golden beer with no head. There was no aroma detectable from beginning to end. The taste was dry with the flavor of wheat. The mouthfeel was good. The drinkability was good, but perhaps this would have benefitted from a lemon slice. Not a bad effort, but perhaps this batch lacked a little something.

This honey ale sits a light straw clear color with a light honey aroma. The flavors of honey and malty are immediately apparent, but do not over-power the senses. The hint of sharp spice helps to round off a very drinkable and well-built honey ale.
