A - It pours a radiant golden hue, with tangerine
highlights around the edges, and is capped wit a
short- lived white head that is nice while it lasts .
Lace is minimal.
S - The nose is pungently hoppy, with a very
mild earthy malt base. The hop bouquet is rife
with fresh cut grass , green foliage, zesty citrus
and sappy mango. Excellent.
T - The taste is, again, hugely hoppy, proffering
huge grassy notes backed up by citrus zest ,
mango and tropical fruit, and some pine-
evergreen. The malt is quite light, contributing
little more than an underlying biscuity tone.
M - (I )IPA . Good.
O - I am really a fan of the light- malt DIPA, and
this is a really good example. It reminds me of
Pliny at three+ weeks; I don 't know how old this
brew is, but I' d guess it is at least three weeks
old .

IPA pours a golden clear color with very little head. The smell contains a strong aroma of hops, but has a sweet floral sent. The taste is very well balanced, has a nice floral hop taste, on the bitter side but not crazy. The easiest double IPA i ever had, very easy to drink, but still has a nice full underwater flavor. Overall a very nice Imperial IPA, not as strong and bitter, but well balanced, full of flavor, and has a sweeter fresh taste.

Pours a bright and vibrant orange color with 1-2 fingers of a fluffy white head. Unique sharp color with limited head retention but great lacing.
Aroma is a balance of bready and caramel malts with grapefruit and nectarines. A hint of peach and mango but the grapefruit is what really stands out even though it is well balanced.
Grapefruit flavor forward with some slight alcohol warmth that becomes more pronounced as you drink more and the beer warms. Caramel and bready notes all come together to meld with and transition with the grapefruit and tropical fruit notes. Finishes dry thanks to the moderate but not over powering bitterness.
Crisp, light, well carbed, refreshing, and a touch warm as you go. Great summer beer but the alcohol could get to be a bit too much on a real hot humid day.
Overall this is a very good grapefruit forward IPA with appropriate bitterness and strong malt backbone that supports the hop flavors.
