12 oz. bottle purchased locally. Bottle dated day #340 or December 6, 2011, less than a month ago. Poured into a tulip glass.

A: Opaque black; 1-1/2" fluffy, tan head that settles slowly and leaves consistent lacing across 2/3 of the glass surface; no effervescence.

S: Roasting coffee, bittersweet chocolate, toasted malts.

T: Espresso, nutty oatmeal malt; some light citrus, followed by light increase in bitterness that lingers.

M: Soft & smooth; light bodied, low carbonation; neutral-to-slightly-dry finish; little noticeable heat.

O: Tasty and drinkable, with good characteristics, a "single" stout that holds up well and opens up as it warms.

Road Slush Stout
A: Pours a brown/black with little to no head. No lacing.
S: Nuts, oatmeal, chocolate.
T: Lots of carbonation up from goes into a nice chocolaty stout. Milder flavors but a nice body to it.
M: Lots of chocolate up in here.
O: Meh, more of a traditional stout that would be session able but by itself its not all that much of a tasting experience.

A-dark brown color with a light tan head and decent lacing

S-coffee, chocolate, dark roasted malt, hint of molasses

T-dark roasted malt, coffee, chocolate, hint of cinnamon, brown sugar, mild bitter finish

F-light to medium body with moderate carbonation, smooth

O-decent oatmeal stout, a little on the thin side and not as rich tasting as others
