Poured into a pint glass at slightly below room temperature.

A- Billowing tan head sits atop a very deep brown brew. Some reddish hues on the edges. Very attractive brew on a cold winter night.

S- Coffee predominates as one might assume. Not overwhelming and the roasted malts play a nice second fiddle. Some slight sweetness is also noted.

T- Lots of coffee here, beautiful amounts of dark roasted coffee grounds are the prominent feature. A slightly distracting mild lactic sourness knocks this down from a 4.5 but is growing on me as with each sip.

M- Great mouthfeel. Very smooth which aids in drinkability. A titch light but it doesn't detract from the overall enjoyability.

D- An all around great beer for the coffee lover. Drink at around room temperature and be ready for a treat.
