Shimmering transparent amber, and very reflective. Quite a loud head that recedes quickly.

Smells of nothing but apple cider. Fresh, not like hard cider.

Oh. Oh my, that is delicious. It's hard to tell that you are drinking beer, but it's easy to tell that this is no hard cider either. Any trace of flavors from the yeast or malt are blended in perfectly. Maybe a little caramel. The aftertaste is sweet Jonah gold and tart Granny Smith, skins included. If I close my eyes and wish really hard, it tastes like apple pie including a doughy, sugary crust.

Medium mouthfeel, round but gentle.

I'm pleased that it's not full of "apple pie spices", cinnamon, whatever. Just clean, juicy apple. Bravo.
