Notes:
Treat yourself to a rare delight. The voluminous raspberry bouquet will greet you long before your lips touch your glass. Serve this Wisconsin framboise very cold in a champagne flute. Then hold your glass to a light and enjoy the jewel-like sparkle of a very special ale.
Oregon proudly shares their harvest of mouth watering berries, which we ferment spontaneously in large oak vats. Then we employ Wisconsin farmed wheat and year old Hallertau hops to round out this extravaganza of flavor.

750ml bottle into tulip. Special thanks to biglobo8971 for this.
A- Dark red pour with a little brown in the mix, half finger tight bubble off white head. Lacing is minimal.
S- Raspberries and strawberries right up front, with some rhubarb and cinnamon in the back. There is a touch of dough in there making it smell like a fresh baked pie.
T- Tart raspberries, sweet strawberries and cherries with a touch of rhubarb. There is a slight spice in the finish. Makes your cheeks tingle.
M- Light side of medium body, a touch syrupy, carbonation is low.
O- This is very good, should probably have split it but I'm selfish like that lol. The syrupy feeling makes it feel a little heavier than it is but you get past it really quickly.

750ml bottle, review is from notes.
Pours a nice raspberry red color, slightly off white head atop the beer, recedes quickly, fairly bubbly complexion to the beer, no lacing to speak of. The nose is incredible, raspberry, raspberry and more raspberry. Could be a pie filling, it's also jammy, pungent, tart, sweet, effervescent, but more importantly, ever so inviting. The flavors are nice, overpowering raspberry, the flavor is natural, but the sweetness and tartness skews it down towards something from a can or a raspberry syrup, just a hint of malt on the back end rounds out what could be an exceptionally delicious pie. I think that the raspberries are just a bit too dominent and overboard that it comes off a bit harsher and not quite as refined as it could. The mouthfeel is good, crisp yet juicy, just enough bubbles.
Verdict: Damn delicious stuff. One of the best fruit beers around, it almost drinks like fruit juice, but on a hot day, or really on any day you are looking for something different, this is spot on.

Bottle from mscarpen, 750ml into a tulip. Thanks a ton Scott!
Dark red body with a white head, light film and some bubbles retain. Nose is just - wow. Raspberry and rhubarb jam/pie filling. Just like a friggin' pie. A bit of spicing too, but the fruit presented is just brilliant. Tastes just about the same, raspberry and rhubarb pie, light spicing, sweet raspberry juice and some pie-like notes. Gentle tartness in the finish with some peripheral spicing. Medium body, low carbonation. Raspberry hangs around for some time. Overall, brilliant - easily the best fruit beer I've ever had.

Poured from a bottle into a Goose Island chalice
A: Pours a deep ruby brown color. There is a thin pinkish tinted tan head which quickly fades.
S: Lush notes of raspberry are complemented by a caramel sweetness. A mild tart scent is present.
T: Very strong raspberry flavor. Incredibly sweet and sugary. A strong tart finish makes the all the sweet flavor more palatable. There is a warm malt flavor in the background that provides some caramel and bread notes.
M: Medium bodied but the syrup character makes it feel pretty full. Mild carbonation but fairly effervescent.
O: A good fruit beer. Borders on cloyingly sweet and fruity but the solid tart flavor is its saving grace.

Thanks to whoever shared this at NoSignsOfPain's bday party
Look: Pours a amber red color with a 1/4 inch pinkish head and ok retention
Smell: Raspberries and more raspberries with a slight sourness
Taste: For me this is where it went wrong. The flavor is overpowering with raspberries and they seem artificial. There is a slight tartness and sourness that accompany the raspberries
Mouthfeel: Just over a thin body and mild carbonation and it felt very syrupy to me and left a stickiness in my mouth that I didnt really care for
Overall: This drinks more like a fruit juice then a beer. This is not what I want when I want to drink a beer sorry but this one just doesnt do it for me

Bottle to tulip glass.
A - Medium to ark amber with a big reddish glow. One finger of dirty white head.
S - Very tart up front. Raspberry puree and a slight pie-crust-like malt sweetness that is similar to Wisconsin Belgian Red.
T - Great mix of sweet and tart with a massive raspberry puree flavor up front. Sweet bready malts provide a second layer of flavour and an almost pie-like flavour similar to but not quite as big as Wisconsin Belgian Red.
M - Medium body, very creamy. Light carbonation. Great mouth feel.

Thanks to liamt07 for sharing this.
Amber red colour with about a finger of white head, decent retention with a bit of lace on the glass. Smell is full of jammy raspberry, some malt a little bit of grainy yeast is also encountered, lots of tart fruity scents take over. Taste is all raspberry, tart and just on the edge of full blown sour, malt mixes in as well imparting flavours of a raspberry tea almost, you can almost taste the grainy raspberry its just that real, lightly funky towards the end of the glass. Medium carbonation, sharp dry feel with a medium body. Really, really good stuff, the fact that this tastes like real handpicked raspberries is outstanding, something I will definitely seek out to have again.

Served in a weizen glass on 6/20/12. Celebration for completing one of my last exams.
A - Slightly opaque creamy pink with 2 finger bubbly rose pink head with excellent retention and good lacing.
S - Raspberry, duh. And a bit of green apple, yeast funk, mint.
T - The sweet raspberries hit the front palate immediately and then a touch of sour, yeasty funk and green apples comes to follow. A bit a breadiness and wheat at the finish, but this is just a showcase of the raspberries.
M - Medium-light body, with high effervescent carbonation with a creaminess.
O - Reminds me quite a bit of the Belgian Red from New Glarus but substitute raspberries for the cherries. These beers are equals in my opinion and I really enjoy the how damn fruity this beer is yet still maintaining a semblance of a beer character.

Thanks to pmoney for this bottle!
A: cloudy light garnet to brown color with a one finger head with very little retention, though it looks well carbonated.
S: raspberry, sweetness, some sourness
T: delicious raspberry with sweetness and some tartness. Not super complex, though. A bit too sweet.
M: undercarbonated by a small amount on the front end, but going down I could feel the soft release of the bubbles. Feel would be better with more carbonation to lighten up the body.
O: quite a good beer, but maybe it's not my style. Overall it's very good, and I would pick it up at the store for certain people and certain events if it were the right price. Very good, but a little too much like fruit juice for me.

Much thanks to AM & CM for sharing this with me
Bottle from somewhere in WI
New Glarus' Raspberry Tart is another excellent fruit beer from this brewery, though I found the Belgian Red to have more robust flavors, I appreciated the more obvious tartness that it has, but thought the dropping-off of the flavors in the back half of the palate was a bit disappointing. Still, an enjoyable fruit-centered ale, which I will be happy to share with others, if obtained, in the future.
Pours a pleasant red to pink foam, composed of medium-sized bubbles, a few centimeters in height. Head dissipates rapidly and leaves little to no lacing. Body is a ruby-brown color, transparent, with plenty of active carbonation running up from the bottom. Looks fine, but nothing exceptional.
Aroma is of raspberries that have been put through a food processor and allowed to sit for a few hours, offering slightly faded sweet fruit esters and a bit of tartness, too.
Taste is primarily of sweetened raspberry juice with a little tartness, all of it losing a bit of emphasis on the latter half of the tasting; perhaps the tongue is less sensitive to these flavors on the back half of the palate. Sweetness from malt and raspberry sugars together, though if I didn't know this was fermented, I wouldn't have suggested it was. Essentially, like a very good, not over-the-top-sweet raspberry soda. Flavor profile isn't quite as robust as Belgian Red, but still good.
Beer is medium-light to light bodied with ample carbonation. Still, the carbonation is not pointed enough to be agitating on the palate, instead it helps move this beer on the palate and prevents it from stagnating. Finish is semi-dry, with plenty of stickiness from residual sugars.

Much thanks to to different traders for this one:
kodymupa & elkhunter36 Thanks gentlemen.
I really liked this one. Poured into a Bruery tulip glass.
Color is lighter than i expected, pink with a hint of white wine.
Smell is hmmm well like it's name tart raspberry.
Taste begins with a mild raspberry flavor coupled with a gentle slap of sour/tart. Fresh! The more I drink the more I pick up its acidity. Still, quite pleasing.
Mouthfell is light, crisp with a warmth slowly growing with the acidity.
Overall a very nice, crisp drink. I can't wait to crack another bottle in the heat of summer.

A murky reddish brown beer with a small, quickly dissipating head and minimal lacing. Aroma bursts with fresh tart raspberries and also features some sweet malt to a lesser extent.
This is a simple and straightforward raspberry brew; lots of fresh fruit with the accompanying sweet and tart flavors; not quite sour and certainly not puckering; just fruity, with decent malt presence underneath. No bitterness at all. Feels barely like a beer but not like a fruit soda, fortunately. Less sugary and not at all artificial like a Lindeman’s Framboise. Hints of oak add to the complexity somewhat.
Moderately thin bodied with medium carbonation. The lack of spritziness helps to keep this away from soda territory. Very drinkable; would go equally well with a piece of chocolate truffle cake or a BBQ dinner as a clean refresher.

Grabbed this one when I was up in Madison in early May. 4-5 oz. poured into a FFF Teku on June 8th, 2012.
A - A bit of a soft, clear brown coloring with awesome ruby red tones. Great head swirling on top, fair lacing. Very little head with big edge bubbles.
S Yup, delectable raspberries exactly as anticipated. Slight malt and other citrus underneath but otherwise, the fruit carries almost the entire length of the nose here.
T - Effervescent front end, with moderate sweetness that transitions into the most natural raspberry seed and pulp-like taste. A bit tart but great balancing sweetness. Perfect fruit integration.
M - Moderate carbonation, light body, semi-sweet finish with a fruity, raspberry skin aftertaste.
D - You wanna know how good this is? My girlfriend, who literally despises beer, not only stole my glass from me but poured the final 4 oz. of the bottle for herself. This is absolutely a reference fruit beer and is about as easy drinking and refreshing as you can get.

Thanks to cradke for the bottle. Split with the girlfriend. From notes.
A- Pours ruby red with a thin white head that leaves minimal lacing.
S- Fresh raspberry purée with plenty of sweet and tart notes. Almost jam like with hints of red grape.
T- Again sweetness upfront with raspberry pure wit a touch of sugar then with some tartness at the end. Simple but very delicious.
M- Medium carbonation with a crisp mouthfeel that finishes tart and slightly dry.
O- Really impressed with this beer. Not overly sweet and really highlights the sweetness and tartness of raspberries. This would go perfect with some raspberry cheesecake.

#BOTG 57!
Waxed bottle, 750ml. I have been looking forward to trying this one for awhile. The wax comes off easy, and after popping the cap, a really nice waft of fresh raspberries (very natural, no syrupy/chemical/artificial flavors detected) hits my nose. Pours from bottle into my JK Farmhouse glass. Wrong glass for this, but I have nothing else. This is a crystal clear raspberry red color, very little head, but tight carbonation bubbles come up from the bottom of the glass. Smells great, looks great. Taste- What I love about this is that the sweetness and the fruit flavor all is very natural. It has some nice sugary sweetness, but it seems more like real fruit sweetness than some sort of artificial flavoring. As expected, there is a nice puckering tartness to this on the end, and a dry finish with tight carbonation. Really nice beer, will seek this out again.

750 mL bottle into flute glass
A - Clear garnet in color with a half finger of off-white head that dissipates into a thin lace.
S - Mashed up raspberries. It is one of the most inviting aromas I've ever experienced. Not much else to it, though.
T - Tastes of raspberries, sweet and tart. Just a perfect, pure display of real raspberry flavors, made a bit tart/sour by the fermentation process. Truly a special treat and something that would be perfect with dessert.
M - Medium to light body, a bit cloying and finishing dry. Nice carbonation, the bubbles tickle the tongue slightly.
O - Overall this beer cannot be missed. A delicious fruit beer unlike any other I have had. A great way to show non-beer drinkers what some of the lesser know beer styles have to offer, and a beer I will endeavor to have on hand every time I have guests so I can share with them this wonderful drink.

Poured into an oversized wine glass. Consumed on a nice, hot, and sunny Memorial day.
Poured a nice deep red color with a white/red tinged 3 finger head.
Wow, amazing smell. Not much to describe here because the smell is entirely overpowered by raspberries - fresh, delicious, sweet, and tart raspberries.
Taste is amazing. Definetely reminds me a bit of a lighter red wine, though the taste, much like the smell, is almost entirely raspberry. Great tartness on the end. Very refreshing.
Mouthfeel is perfect and refreshing.
Overall - wow. Amazing beer. I have never had a fruit beer that tasted so fresh and "real." This is an amazing beer, one that I hope to come across again. Absolutely loved it.

Received a bottle of this in a trade. Poured into a Duvel tulip.
A - Pours a crystal clear deep, dark ruby red wine colour brew with a nice two finger slightly pink fizzy head that faded rather quickly to leave a thinnish halo and a thin light cloud.
S - Aromas, holy cow. Yeah this is raspberry. Raspberry juice, fresh berries in the summer sun, nice preserves, somewhat sweet. Reminds me incredibly of the local orchard that makes fruit wine...this smells exactly like a raspberry wine.
T - So this is a true raspberry beer eh? A bit more heavy on the raspberry preserves side as opposed to fresh berries when it comes to the flavour. There's no mistaking it though...this is a pure raspberry goodness. No other flavours, just berry. Guess I would like more fresh raspberry with this? This is so damn close to a raspberry wine.
M - The mouthfeel is nice, a bit lower carbonated for my liking. The low alcohol of course doesnt come through. Drinks like a slightly carbonated wine.
O - Overall...yeah, this shit is the real deal. I love a good fruit beer and this fills the void for me. That smell is crazy, as is the flavour. Cant think of anything more raspberry. Wish the mouthfeel and head/retention was better but the aroma and flavours more than make up for them!

Pours a deep amber that looks like fruit juice. A fruit beer through and through. Smells like raspberries, looks like raspberries, and tastes like raspberries. A little tartness, but more sweet than tart.
Could use more tartness, but not bad. If you want an unsweetened lambic this beer is not for you. Pleasant dessert beer.

A: Pours brownish red, minimal fast-fading head, lots of active bubbles in the liquid.
S: Strong raspberry aroma, jam-like and somewhat artificial. Pretty one-note, but I suppose that what they were aiming for.
T: Juice. Sparkling juice. Did the yeast attenuate this at all? Tastes like sweet wine or cider. No beer-like aspects to my tongue. Finishes with a distinct zing.
M: High carbonation. Lots of residual sweetness. Sticky finish.
O: As this warms up, it just gets more oppressively sweet to the point that my stomach is starting to get a bit upset. Perhaps if you frequently drink juice and soda and want a beer that's as sweet as them, this is an appealing beverage, but it's not at all for me.

750mL bottle poured into a champagne flute as instructed by the label
No born on date or other distinguishing numbers
Big thanks to haveanother1 for sending this one over in a trade.
A: Pours a dark amber with some ruby hues and great clarity. 1.5 fingers width of light beige colored head dissipates down at a moderate rate to leave only an outer ring. A few sparse carbonation bubbles can be seen rising to the top of the glass. Leaves only a trace amount of spotty lacing, but still a pretty beer.
S: Tons of huge fresh raspberry aromas, and you don't even need to put your nose near the glass. They smack you in the face as soon as you open the bottle. Maybe a hint of sugary sweet raspberry jam, but mostly just fresh tart raspberries. Does it smell like a beer? Well not any one I've ever smelled, but it smells like a dream. Awesome.
T: Like the nose, the taste is all about raspberries. Tastes sweeter than the smell, more of the jelly/jam flavors as opposed to fresh raspberries. There is a good degree on tartness on the tongue as well. A good mix of sweetness upfront followed by tartness on the back end, a balance that prevents a rather one dimensional palate profile from becoming cloying. I really don't pick up much of anything else except the raspberry, but I think that's the goal.
M/D: Heavily carbonated, fuller bodied than I anticipated. Slightly more syrupy that I would like, but a nice drying finish. Drinkability is pretty good, but I'd say this one is meant to be shared, as a full bomber was a bit much.
O: Overall, I really can't imagine a better raspberry beer. My personal presence would be a touch more sour, but I really think they accomplished there goal here. And the smell, oh the heavenly smell! I could see this as the perfect substitute for champagne for a Sunday brunch. Very well done!

750ml. There is no dating information, but this was purchased for me in WI in early April. Poured this into a stemmed white wine glass.
A: Pours a really pretty pink color. About a finger of bright white head. Nicely carbonated. Effervescent like a champagne.
S: Smells like an extremely natural raspberry fruit juice. A little white grape as well. There is some MILD malt notes hidden behind it that lead to some grassy notes, but mostly its all delicious fruit.
T: Epic natural raspberry flavor. Completely natural fruit, not fake BS. Nicely tart and refreshing on the tip of the tongue. You get a little white grape hints. Nice dry finish. Wine/champagne like. This was a winner even with the non-beer drinkers at the gathering.
M: Light to medium bodied.
O: I like this much more than the Wisconsin Belgian Red but that is probably because I like raspberries more!

Poured from 750 to brandy snifter...
Amber gold body... clear as a bell. A finger of slightly off-white carbonation laces extremely well around room temperature.
Thick raspberry flesh, mild honey notes, a vague tartness tied to something sweeter... fruity and light, like raspberry pancake syrup. The massive fruit presence isn't overwhelming sweet whatsoever, just spot on I think.
Raspberries. Tons and tons of raspberries. This is just raspberries in a bottle. The sweetness though is lovingly toned down to achieve a beautiful sense of balance that won't keep you from drinking an entire bottle.
Drinkability is rather high, given the aggression of the raspberry bite. It remains light and sweet, without moving into the dessert category.
Yum.

Poured from 750 bottle into snifter glasses.
A: Dark red, but clear. Small-medium head.
S: Smells more like a fruit juice than the usual raspberry jam-like sensation that framboises have. No strong funk, either.
T: The taste does have some of that jammy raspberry flavor, though. It's sweet, for the style, actually. However, the raspberry flavor is more fresh than with most raspberry beers I've tried (so, it's just the sweetness that's giving it the jam-like flavor).
M: Medium body. Low-medium carbonation.
O: One of the more unique raspberry beers, but I wish it was a lot more sour.

T: Raspberry jam. Has the same syrupy sweetness. Kind of biting acidity in the aftertaste, almost painful in the throat.
M: Has some body from residual sugars.
O: I was expecting for something better, honestly. This is too one-dimensional. The wonderful natural complexity of raspberries is just not here. This is a simple jammy fruit beer. Thank god it's at least the sweetness is restrained.
