Notes:
Treat yourself to a rare delight. The voluminous raspberry bouquet will greet you long before your lips touch your glass. Serve this Wisconsin framboise very cold in a champagne flute. Then hold your glass to a light and enjoy the jewel-like sparkle of a very special ale.
Oregon proudly shares their harvest of mouth watering berries, which we ferment spontaneously in large oak vats. Then we employ Wisconsin farmed wheat and year old Hallertau hops to round out this extravaganza of flavor.

750ml bottle poured into an Sam Adams / Weihenstephaner Infinium flute. Provided as a very generous extra by UMNbeerhunter, thanks Joe!
A - Pours an almost maroon like color, bold and bright, yet clear to see the multiple streams of carbonation rising throughout. 2 finger's worth of head sit on top of the beer, but with pretty low retention and doesn't leave much, if any, lacing.
S - The first thing that came to mind after smelling this beer were those Haribo Raspberry Gummi candies I used to eat as a kid. Obviously very strong raspberry smell, but also quite tart and puckering. Vibrant and authentic, like freshly-pressed juice. Gives off an authentic smell, not like thick, raspberry syrup.
T - The taste is much more tart than I would've anticipated, to the point where the first few sips were quite mouth-puckeringly sour. As my palate acclimates, however, it eventually transforms into a tasty beer, with a nice balance between the sour start and relatively sweeter finish.
M - Mouthfeel is light-bodied with carbonation on the lower end of the spectrum. Finish is moderately long with a sweet finish. The tartness really lingers in the sides of the mouth, however.
D - Drinkability is high. My girlfriend can't have much beer, so I was drinking most of this bottle, but I was perfectly okay with that. Luckily the ABV is such that this is a great beer to have throughout dinner, but also pairs nicely with dessert. We had this with chocolate afterward and it was a great combination.
