Hazy orange color with slightly off-white head. Aroma is classic hefeweizen but somehow more bright. Taste is definitely more diluted, watery but you still get the banana and clove notes. Body doesn't really feel light, more like medium, just the taste is not very intense. Carbonation is on the high side. Not really my type, too watery and carbonated for my taste.

A murky, amber beer with a big frothy head.
Smell has grainy wheat and a sweet malty smell. Typical clove and banana whiffs.
Taste is like your average Weizen, a nice clove and ripe banana's yeast profile, supported by a wheat backbone. Although this is the Leicht version of the normal Maisel's, I can hardly get the difference. It's body is a little less, but hardly significant. I feel in doubt about awarding this beer, it is a low ABV% beer and with a lower body, but it takes skill to create such a beer. I wonder why not more Weizens have these alcohol%.

Poured a huge head that was dark cream, almost light brown, in color. Probably the darkest I've seen on a Hefe. Hazy, glowing, apricot colored beer. Estery aroma of bubble gum and dough with some fresh citrus and a touch of twang. Yeasty bubble gum Mouthfeel is soft, light, and a hair watery. As a Hefe Weizen it's a tad weak, but I've had "normal" Hefe Weizens that were similar. Let's put it this way. If someone asked me to recommend a Hefe Weizen it wouldn't be this one, but if they were looking for a light beer this would be a good choice.
