Not 100% sure this is the right beer. The label looks like the one picture in the helles page, but where it says "helles' is says "bier" on this bottle. It also says vienna beer on the lable.
Fairly hazy golden body, small white head. Smell sweet malt. Pretty smooth taste, nice sweet malt, pillowy body. Nothing crazy going on, not bad

Golden with an orange hue, and a thin white head that fades quickly. Some rather unappetizing yeast swirls floating about near the surface.
Smell is ginger, malts, a little bit of hops. Touch of clove perhaps too.
Taste is malts and some spices, with a touch of hops and some grain notes.
Mouthfeel is fairly smooth with a little bite near the finish. Finish is slightly dry. Light body.
Drinkability is good. Goes down easily.

A new arrival here in Oregon, and apparently it doesn't have much in the way of distribution in the rest of the world, either. Poured from the green 12oz bottle into a pint glass. Body is a mellow golden color, topped by a small, creamy white head that instantly dissipates into a thin ring. A mild skunky aroma emerges as soon as the cap is popped, but mellows into a slightly sweet, biscuity malt. Palate is a subtly sweet malt base, with a very mild bitterness that I think may actually be coming from husk in the grist, rather than hops. Finish is nice and clean. Body is smooth and slightly creamy, which is pleasant and very much in character for the style. Still, while refreshing, this isn't a particularly tasty beer.

A decent lager from Vienna and one that I could drink regularly. I'm not sure of this beer's classification and a Vienna as it seems more Pilsener-like. Regardless, it is a clean, crisp brew with good feel.
The opening reveals a golden body with high levels of carbonation. Lots of rapidly rising bubbles. The head is ivory white and high, but quickly receding to a lace ring. Plenty of spotty lace follows down the glass. The nose is a tad skunky and that is likely due to the light green bottle and Saaz hopping.
The flasvor starts sweet, but ends reasonably dry and light. Plenty of smoothness in the feel and a nice crisp end. Highly drinakble lager.
