Poured from a 750mL bottle into my Town Hall tulip.
Opaque burnt orange liquid capped by and vague ivory collar. No lacing; inferior retention.
Asian pear, apples, and fruity yeast in the nose.
Very sweet and full on the palate - coming across like a malty, mildly bitter/grassy cider. Dries out a little bit in the finish, but the caramel apple impression remains. Unfermented candi sugar and large amounts of crystal malt seem to be present.
Insufficient carbonation, full yet pond-water-like mouth-feel.
One gets the impression that the brewers of this ale never actually sampled a French farmhouse-style ale...though there is some similarity to a malt (rather than yeast) driven ale brewed by Fantome on an off day. Flavor and aroma are mostly pleasant none the less.

A: The beer is somewhat hazy light amber orange in color and has a light to moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a finger and a half high dense off white head that gradually died down but consistently left a thin layer of bubbles covering the surface, a collar around the edge and some lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of chunky yeast are present in the nose (similar to the large clumps of yeast you taste near the bottom of a glass) along with some hints of fruity yeast.
T: Like the smell, the taste has flavors of chunky yeast along with hints of sweet toasted malts and fruity yeast. No bitterness is perceptible.
M: It feels medium-bodied (and faintly chewy from the yeast) on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer doesn't have as much earthiness compared to other beers in the style but is a really nice beer if you like smelling and tasting yeast. No traces of alcohol are present in the taste.

Pours a nice red color with just a hint of orange. Forms a decent sized tan head, and a lot of bubbles from carbonation.
Very malty and bread like smell. Reminds me a bit of the smell of warm bread dough. There is a hint of sweetness in it, almost a citrus smell.
Fairly malty up front, also has citrus notes and some peppery spice at the finish.
Decent feel, and a lot of carbonation. The carbonation made my tongue tingle for a bit after drinking it.
Pretty decent beer here. Seems to me to be closer to a Belgian pale ale, as the flavor profile puts me in mind of the Belgian style. Not quite a blow me away beer, but a pretty decent one I'm glad I picked up while at the brewpub.

Pours a hazy amber with a one finger white head, with good retention and lacing. Has a sweet and tart aroma with apricots, peaches, toasted malt, toffee, yeast and spice.
Tastes sweet with a light amount of tartness. Has apricots, toffee, yeast, toasted malt, spice, and some funk. Also has a light hop bitterness. Well balanced, with no hints of alcohol in the taste.
Medium bodied, smooth and easy to drink, with soft carbonation. A nice beer, which I will buy again, if I get the chance.
