Schlafly is now in Iowa.
This pours a dark gold with lots of bubbles and a very nice lasting head with incredible lacing.
Nose is not real strong. Kind of surprised.
Taste is really a nice drinkable hoppy flavor. Blends of pine and citrus; not in your face though. Mouth feel goes along with the nice head, really creamy. This beer is really enjoyable to drink and I will buy it again.

Pours a toasted straw color with a tight creamy head that left a wall of lacing on the glass.
The aroma is bready with a hint of a grassy hop. Light metallic and fruit note. Not overly aromatic for a dry hopped APA.
The flavor is more hoppy than the aroma. The hop profile is grassy with an earthy bitterness. The malt is lightly bready with some biscuit notes. A bit of a lemon rind bitterness. Not much hop flavor more bitterness.
The feel is moderate with fizzy carbonation. Lightly sweet on the palate and finishes with a twangy bitterness. A tad dry and aspirin like.
Standard APA nothing exciting. A bit disappointing considering the dry hopping but no off flavors.

The bottle is pretty fresh. A month old brewed on 5/9/13 at the bottom of the label.
The beer comes with a rocky white head. It comes in a clear orange with some amber and yellow in there.
The aroma has citrus as in some orange and lemon. There’s a bit of biscuit malt in there. Not very aromatic, but reminiscent of many other hoppy pale ales. It’s still a bit of a disappointment with the beer being called “Dry Hopped APA.”
The flavor hits you with some caramel sweetness, which then turns into a grapefruit bitterness. The flavors at first are mild, but the bittering finish is a highlight of this beer.
Nothing very exciting, but still a good hoppy pale ale.
