Poured into a glass, it produce a dense 2 finger white head. The beer color is a translucent medium honey.
The aroma is of biscuit, and honey. Not very strong.
The taste is similar, but with a light citrus hop taste, and bitterness. Medium mouth-feel, and low-medium carbonation.
Very nice beer. Easy drinking, and the low alcohol makes it an all night drinker.

I poured a little over a finger of head on this one. Body a deep amber color. Lacing tries but can't seem to cling to the glass. Head leaves a good froth on top.
Deep inhales reveal bready malt, tea and earthy hops.
Tea and bread open this one up. Transitions over to earthy and grassy hops.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied. It has a dry, bitter finish.

Pours a golden amber capped by a white two finger head. Average head retention, plenty of sticky lacing. Light caramel, hint of almonds, light fruitiness, and pleasant herbal notes on the nose. Opens with light nutty caramel, golden raisins, and understated grassy, herbal hops. Finishes crisp with light toffee, light fruitness, perhaps a hint of pearskin. Highly drinkable light, smooth body; crisp abundant carbonation. A very tasty English Pale Ale. If I didn't know better, I'd guess this was an import from across the pond.

Copper/golden in color, Schafly Pale Ale pours out of the bottle with little fanfare. There isn’t much foam, little or no lacing, and the nose on the beer is rather light, with scents of caramel, toasted malt, and a few other things but not very assertive overall.
This pale ale offers flavors of toasted malt, caramel, bread, notes of tea, and earthy, herbal hops. Digging a little deeper, I can taste some notes of honey, biscuits, and some light fruit. The flavor is well balanced overall and no one taste dominates the others.
This is a good example of a pale ale that is less hoppy and more restrained than some of the big, hoppy pale ale that are so commonplace nowadays. I wasn’t sure if I liked it at first, but I notice that the flavor has grown on me after a second bottle and I like it more. Still not an amazing pale ale and I can think of several I like better, but it is a good product nonetheless.

Pours to a generous and lasting buff head with moderate lacing and iconic copper color. Aroma is caramel, biscuit, yeast esters and a hint of earthy hops. Flavor is a session-able and easygoing amalgamation of the aforementioned aromas with a balancing resiny hop bitterness. Overall, this is a flavorful low alcohol (by US craft standards) session brew that has balance and flavor on a par with its English counterparts.

Poured into a shaker pint glass.
The beer is a deep amber color with a hint of orange hue. A thick foamy cream colored head holds up well, receding to a thick soapy film. Excellent lacing on the glass.
The aroma is of toasted grains, faintly malty with a tea-like hop aroma.
The taste is fairly well balanced with biscuity malts bringing a mellow sweetness first. Hops soon bring a little spiciness, as well as faint citrus in the finish.
Mouthfeel is pretty clean with medium body.
Overall, a really session-friendly beer with decent balance.
