Poured from a brown 11.2 oz. bottle. Has a golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is mostly of malts, some notes of corn. Taste is like the smell, malts and corn, not bad but not very complex. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and has good drinkability. Overall this is a decent brew.

A - Clear Amber colour, white foamy head that dissipates quickly.

S - 100% pure malt, so on the nose is pure malt, slight breadiness and a hint of sour lemon which must be from the hops.

T - Sweetness from the malts, with no lingering hoppy bitterness.

M - Gentle carbonation, leading to a slightly drying finish

O - As south american pale lagers go, it is the best of a bad bunch, the only saving grace is that their are no unnecessary adjuncts in it.

Best before 4/13/13.

Pours a clear orange with a foamy khaki head that settles to a film on top of the beer. Foamy streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt and some slight fruity and grassy aromas. Taste is much the same with a mild bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty poor beer that has a better smell than taste in my opinion.

330ml twist off bottle served in a Weizen glass.

A: Pours a clear golden yellow color forming a small fizzy bubbled white head. Low retention and only few lacings left

S: Sweet malts, adjunct malts (mainly corn), Lager yeasts and some almost imperceptible notes of hops in the end

T: As the nose. Sweet upfront. Sweet caramel malts, adjunct malts, bready Lager yeasts, very ligh bitterness in the end. In overall a slightly sweet beer with a strange faint hoppy bitterness

M: Very light and watery body and medium to low carbonation. Aftertaste is a bit annoying, a mix of cardboard and weird bitterness (I'm asking myself what type of hops do they used here...)

O: Average drinkability. A bit annoying, actually. A beer that I won't try again...

And one I forgot from the chronicles of the Central American Lager fest this weekend. Thanks to Roswell the Dog for bringing this back and sharing. Pours a clear golden straw color with a smallish white head that dissipates quickly. Smells malty sweet and lightly grainy with faint floral hops The flavor is a bit sweet and grainy with hints of honey. Medium body with a moderate level of carbonation and a sweet grainy mouthfeel. Light lager, nothing exciting, well made, If I ever find myself in Peru I'd drink some unless I find something better.

A: The beer is crystal clear yellow in color and has a moderate to high amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high bright white head that died down but consistently left a thin head covering the surface and rings of lacing around the sides of the glass.
S: There are faint aromas of adjunct malts in the nose—corn stands out in particular—along with some hints of sweetness, the latter of which becomes a bit stronger as the beer warms up.
T: Like the smell, the taste has a bit of sweetness along with light flavors of corn and bready malts. There is a very slight amount of bitterness.
M: It feels light-bodied and only a slight bit watery on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation. There are some hints of dryness in the finish.
O: There’s nothing overly special about this beer, but the taste is rather inoffensive and a lot better compared to other many of the other adjunct lagers.

A 330ml bottle with a BB of Aug 2012. The bottle features a sort of Inca design moulded into it, and the label mentions that this beer is made with 100% malt.

Poured into a straight pint glass. A clear golden colour medium carbonation and some random floating particles. Forms a decent head of white foam that lasts for a minute or two before dissipating. Aroma of light malt with faint hints of corn and stewed leaves. Not much going on.

Tastes of light malt with a dry finish. Slightly sweet, with hints of corn, stewed veg/leaves and a whiff of solvent. Not much bitterness to speak of. Mouthfeel is smooth and tingly, but rather watery. Mild aftertaste of stewed veg and corn.

Meh - a fairly typical macro lager. Relatively clean tasting but not terribly interesting. Probably OK to quench your thirst if you find yourself in Peru; just keep it cold. No need to hunt it down.
