Big Wave is light golden ale with a subtle fruitiness and delicate hop aroma. A smooth, easy drinking refreshing ale. The lightly roasted honey malt contributes to the golden hue of this beer and also gives a slight sweetness that is balanced out by our special blend of hops.

Look:
Kona Big Wave pours a nice golden color, like a sunny day down by the beach. It's pretty appealing, gotta say.
Smell:
You get a whiff of something fruity mixed in with a bit of dryness. It's nothing overpowering, but it's there, giving off those island vibes.
Taste:
This brew's got a good balance of sweetness and bitterness. It's like taking a sip of summer, with hints of fruit flavor that make it real enjoyable.
Feel:
The texture's not too heavy, kinda light and bubbly. Makes it easy to kick back and enjoy without feeling weighed down.
Overall:
Kona Big Wave hits the spot for a laid-back drinker like me. It's got that nice balance and flavor that keeps me coming back for more, perfect for unwinding after a long day.

Poured from a can into a pilsner glass.
Look: Thick, white head. Semi-frothy. Good retention. Gold color.
Smell: Dry hop aroma can be detected as soon as the beer is poured. The nose is big and loud. Pine is the dominant note. I'm actually not bbn picking up anything else.
Taste: Much less hoppy than the nose. The difference is drastic. The taste is all citrus and cracker with the hops providing a little support. The more I drink the more the hops are taking over.
Feel: It feels just a little watery.
Overall: Easy to drink. Good flavor.

Has a nice golden color. The smell is fruity/floral. The same notes come out in the flavor. It's very light and drinkable and not bitter like I expected it might be based on the smell. Mouth feel is average. Overall, a slightly above average beer that I would definitely buy if I were looking for something light and fruity.

Poured from a 12 ounce bottle into a Shaker pint glass, "best by" date is "17MAR24".
APPEARANCE: pours a clear, copper color with almost no head, the little foam present instantly dissipated until a partial ring of small bubbles remained around the rim, trace amount of lacing and medium carbonation, not much to look at.
SMELL: very faint to the nose, caramel and a slight roasted note.
TASTE: the taste follows the nose, initially sweet caramel and a slight roasted note, simple and understated.
PALATE: light body and medium carbonation.
OVERALL: this is a bland beer, there is nothing offensive or off-putting about it, it's fizzy but lacks smell and taste, the ABV is quite low at 4.4% and I appreciate that more than anything else about this beer, I just wish it were better, a lawnmower beer, nothing more, I would not seek this out again.

355ml bottle at 4,4% abv. A light lager.
Chilled to 5-6 degrees,. Poured in straight beer glass.
High on the carbonation, low on the foam. 1 finger white head, disolving fast.
Smell, biscuity with a bit of citra coming throuh.
Mouth feel thin, with a slight bitter, grafruity aftertaste. Quite dry.
Seems a little bit like a mix of IPA with lager and thinned with water.
Drinkable though and low on the ABV.
