This pub is easily found about 5 minutes from the railway station in Bad Windsheim. Quite a big place, with a few rooms in which to dine/quaff. You can go either left or right upon entry...I went left. Big, new wooden tables all over, lots of wooden paneling, big-ass beams across the ceiling. New furniture but all old-style. There are many photos of old brewers and bier-related events hanging all over, plus old bier signs and brewing equipment and copper piping decorating the Stuben. Big bier kegs are set about for atmosphere, and hops are strung along the beams and walls. They also have the cool mash-tun lamps lighting the place that the nearby Döbler has. They serve Bier from both Bad Windsheimer Bürgerbräu and Tucher; about 3 or 4 of each from what I could gather. Tucher Biers are all pretty good (sampled the Urfränkische Dunkel), and I had a Bürgerbräu Freilands Museum Dunkel, which hit the spot. Service was decent, though I only had Bier, so I wasn't pushing them much... Prosit!!
