Poured chilled in flared glass
A: light yellow; clear; robust carbonation; adequate head that dissipates quickly
S: thin, almost odorless; sweet malt
T: light, somewhat lemony; watery; little in the way of hops (of course), and the malt is not all that prominent either; very easy going down, and no wretched aftertaste; that's not bad for this genre, so it gets higher marks than most of this sort

Poured from a 12oz bottle into a glass.
Appearance - Light amber color; a small head that dissipated quickly.
Smell - Not much to smell here...a little yeasty
Taste - Watery, beer-like flavor, finished off with the bitterness of a lager. Not much presence in the way of hops.
Mouthfeel - Extremely light, watery, and carbonated. Very easy to drink, especially after the first couple of sips.
Overall - Only on Cinco de Mayo...IMO it was better than some other beers of the same kind, but that's about it. Certainly not what the Most Interesting Man in the World would drink.

This one is on tap at Old Chicago, part of the Cinco de Mayo mini tour. Arrived in a 10-oz 'sample' size glass with a finger of white head over a very pale clear straw colored liquid with a great amount of bubbles.
Pale malt and adjuncts are evident in the aroma.
Similarly the taste, adjuncts, cooked corn, grainy.
Light bodied with strong carbonation. This is one of my least favorite Mexican brewed adjuncts.

I tried this at Old Chicago as part of their Cinco de Mayo mini tour
Poured from 12oz bottle into 8oz pilsner glass
A-pale yellow with a fizzy white head
S-mostly corn and grain
T-more corn here
M-thin and watery
O-probably not the worst beer I have had but nothing special

A - Pours a pale golden colour, thin layer of head with no retention and no lacing.
S - Sweet corn, musty grass, buttered bread and wheat.
T - The sweet corn dominates, hints of apple juice, brown sugar, bready biscuit malt lingers on the palette.
M - Medium, smooth and wet.
O - An easy drinking, mild flavoured lager that is suitable for hot sunny days. Typical Mexican import that doesn't bring much to the table.

Served on tap at a local Mexican food eatery in Norwalk CT. Happy to see they have added a few taps to the offering.
Pours a very clear very pale goldfish yellow. Some white foam but not much. The glass started cold, so the small is faint. What's there is typical adjunct corn and beer. Taste is quite clean, with some decent lager flavor. It is smooth without much bite. Certainly accompanies my flautas and guacamole nicely.
Not bad.

Poured from bottle into pint glass
Appearance – Pours a light golden color with a medium white head . The head faded quite fast giving way to very little lacing.
Smell – The smell is light and is predominantly of some malty aromas mixed with an ever so light caramel aroma.
Taste – A lighter malt flavor with hints of corn mixed in. There is a lighter sweetness up front that seems to be lost toward the middle and the end. Overall rather one dimensional and bland in the taste profile.
Mouthfeel – A lighter body with a higher level of carbonation. The thinness of the body really allows it to coast right over the tongue. This coupled with the slightly higher then normal carbonation level give the brew very little time to permeate the tongue; which in this case is like a good thing.
Overall – Nothing to spectacular here. Doesn’t really have a huge taste and the nose and appearance leave something to be desired.

Serve and drink by the poolside/seeside in Cancun Mexico when I was in vacation.
Really not the first time a drink this beer, but first time in draugh...
Drank MANY time during the week and I found nothing very special about this beer, except is great drinkability. Sun and warmth helps a bit in these cases. Neverless, Few glasses of this beer each afternoon was really appreciated.
Overall comment, great for the sun, by the pool or at the see, but not a beer that I will seek for at home. Really common major brew.
From now on, this beer will reminds me the Cacun sun and the great time I had. At least it's that!

325ml bottle, poured into a glass by the waiter in the bar I was in San Cristobal.
Poured a light yellow beer with atwo finger head that quickly became just half a finger. That's certaintly an improvement over my last mexican beers since none of them seems to provide a decent head. Lots of bubbles in the glass.
SOme malts on the aroma and a light scent of grass.
Taste is bitter, but only slighty. Very highly drinkable.
Medium thickness on the body and slight carbonation, much better than any other beer i tried so far.
Overall, I found this one to be great.

Poured this American Adjunct Lager out of a 12 oz bottle into a pint glass. Poured a clear, straw color, produced a average white head with poor retention and no lacing left behind on the glass. The aroma is a little off putting, smelled of sweet corn and some grain. Light in body, this macro mexican brewed version of a american lager is thin, with the flavor of cooked corn, malted grain and some small amount of hop finish. Better then some Mexican brewed American beers i.e. Corona....but still a sub par, low quality brew. Prost!

A - No head or lacing, but it does have a rich gold color that some macro's seem to be weak at
S - Not much there, some sweet grains
T & M - Very smooth and finishes clean, but forgettable once you finish the bottle
O - It's nothing amazing but a decent brew to have with a meal that has a lot of flavors & spice (haha almost like Mexican!). Its not overwhelming but its definitely a macro that I'd choose again

A - Pours golden, with a thin white foam. No lacing, and some cabonation.
S - Smells bland, and like a typical macro lager.
T - Not bad; it is refreshing. But it really adds nothing in terms of malt, grain, hops, or any flavors that make you feel like you are enjoying beer.
M - Crisp, light, and enjoyable. This is easy to drink, as expected.
O - Didn't expect much, and got a macro produced lager as expected. Don't expect the slick marketing to make it anything special.

12 fl oz bottle served in a generic pint glass, reviewed from notes:
A - Pours a transparent, straw golden golden color with half a finger of thin, white head that was gone within 20 seconds. Generic and unappealing.
S - Stale cereal grains, heavy corn, light malt and maybe a touch of yeast (I'm stretching). Mild strength.
T - The taste is a bit maltier than the nose predicted, though it's still light. Heavy corn/adjunct taste and a bit of light cream. No yeast of hops notes are detectable. Simple and imbalanced.
M - Light bodied, smooth and wet. Completely wrong even for the style. Needs more carbonation.
D - Just another run of the mill adjunct lager with some Spanish branding on it. AVOID.

Served at a bar in a 12 oz. bottle, but poured it into another AAL glass I was using. Notes typed hastily into my shitty old phone.
Appearance: Pours a pale, clear golden with a two-finger bone white head that quickly dissipates, leaving a surprising and impressive amount of lacing on the glass.
Smell: Corn, mild hops, metal, watery
Taste: Mild corn adjuncts and very mild hops, that's about it. Strange grassy/rubbery taste at the end.
Mouthfeel: Crisp, light carbonation and body, easy drinker.
Overall: An above average American Adjunct Lager, worthy of a try in my opinion.

Neighbor had a case for the Superbowl so I took one, it's been a while. Poured to a pint glass. The beer pours a golden straw color with a nice 2 finger white head that has some retention and lacing but not much. The nose is strong in grassy tones but not a lot else to report. The taste is light and crisp that starts off with a sweetness I likened to corn with hints of barely and a mild bitterness. Finishes with a hint of grass and cereal grain. Light bodied and decently carbonated. Overall, I remember loving this beer...in high school. My tastes have changed. I wouldn't refuse another though my any means.

Poured clear pale yellow, almost uric in color! White frothy head, lasts about 45 seconds.
Smells grainy, bready. Tastes like corn on the cob, sans corn!Slightly more full bodied than other Adjuncts I've tried. If this happens to be all that is available, consider drinking water!!

Served in a shockingly frosted mug, but I didn't send it back because I figured it wouldn't hurt much.
It's yellow and fizzy. It has a white head that quickly disappears.
It smells faintly of grain.
There is an adjunct, corny sweetness. Not much by way of bittering hops.
It's thin and fizzy.
Not a very good beer. There are a handful of other Mexican lagers I'd rather drink.

On-tap at Herby's. Lime on tow.
A: The lager is very light, a pale yellow color that has just enough golden brown in it. No head, thank I'm guessing, to the lime's citrus.
S: Mild nose, a little bready a little hoppy but very strong on either front. The highlight may just be the spicy citrus that the lime imparts. Fairly boring, but it greases the skids for the queso fundido.
T: Again, the lime delivers a pleasant detour from an otherwise boring lager. The light breads, very pale, are practically nonexistent. And don't even think about hoppiness. The good news is that the lager goes down very easily. This one didn't make it through the birthday apps.
M: Mouthfeel? It's moist with a drip of citrus. About what I expected.

A: Pours a clear gold with a thin, fizzy white mousse.
S: Really neutral and sterile on the nose. Aromas of grain husks and lemony hops are just barely evident, even after the beer has settled and warmed.
T: Harsh notes of minerals, lemon, lime, grain husks, and cooked vegetables fill the mouth. The finish is fleeting with mineral and cooked vegetable notes.
M: Very thin, dry, and light-bodied. Carbonation is harsh and fizzy. Not particularly drinkable in my opinion.
O: This is another subpar lager. I honestly don't understand why this beer is so hyped by mainstream drinkers.

Purchased: 6-pack from Wal-Mart
Picked these up to go with some Mexican dinner at home...
Appearance is a clear, straw-yellow color, with lots of bubbles seen in the glass. The white head settles to about 2 fingers high and features good retention and a little bit of lace.
The aroma is almost non-existent. Some light, clean malt character at best.
Taste seems like a watered-down pilsener flavor, with some light malt sweetness and faint hops. I get some off-flavors that I would guess came from corn or some other adjunct filler.
Carbonation is high and the body is thin, giving a crisp mouthfeel. Really not much of an aftertaste, however.
Overall, not a very remarkable beer, but not offensive either. A good choice for washing down some dinner.

Got a six pack of this for working on a friends car. Poured from the green bottle into a pilsner glass
A - Pours a straw-gold with a few bubbles lazily rising to the white, two finger head. Head is gone almost immediately. Leaves behind one or two bubbles of lacing.
S - Grass notes win over cereal upon opening the bottle, giving this beer a better nose than nearly all macros. Still not much here.
T - A little bit of corn sweetness upfront. The body is a sweet corn and adjunct infused mixture with faint sour mash notes attempting to provide some semblance of balance lurking in the background. A slight amount of grassyness as the beer passes over the back of the tongue leads to a stale-cereal finish.
M - Slightly better than most macros, it is just a tad thicker than seltzer water with atleast as much carbonation.
Dos Equis slightly edges out most macros in terms of smell, mouthfeel, and flavor, but not enough to compensate for the premium price. Think of it as Mexican bud for when you want to look more cultured than your plebeian friends. And to my fellow beer enthusiasts: stay thirsty my friends (or else you won't want to touch this)

A- Typical straw color you see in aals. Almost a one finger head with no retention or lacing to speak of.
S- Corn and some other hints of grain. That is about it.
T- Corn and grains again, not much else to report. This isn't a very good tasting aal.
M- fair amount of carbonation and light bodied.
O- Very boring and below average, even for an aal. If you like Mexican beer at least go for a Modelo or something.

355ml bottle poured into pint glass 3/1/12
A clear straw yellow with a few bubbles feeding a short lived thumbs width of foam that leaves no lace
S corn and rice cake with a slight chemical smell almost like a shitty chardonnay, no skunk though even with the green bottle
T a little sour wet hay to go with what I smell but just a little worse, still no skunk so that's a plus but it has off chemical flavor that's faint but not so nice
M flat and watery with a gross sour aftertaste, the aftertaste is pretty lousy
