What a great beer to have with a Mexican dinner. Rather than grabbing a domestic American Beer, this beer is a wise choice. Not a strong brew, it has light malty taste, that tickles the senses. Try it with a chicken burrito, makes for a great dinner!

Strikes me as more of a Bohemian Pilsner than Vienna....and a good Bohemian Pilsner at that.
A-Clean and impressive looking in the glass....light golden color....good carbonation bubbles but little head or lacing.
S-Spicy and floral hops lead the way...very nice aroma....some earthiness too....a sweeter malt aroma...almost a little of the honeyed/vanilla notes iI've experienced in some Maibocks. Great aroma.
T-Spicy and floral hops mingle with the sweeter malts and make this quite tasty.
M-Medium bodied....medium firm carbonation.
D-This is a winner. An enjoyable lighter colored beer from Mexico. Would seem to pair nicely with spicy foods...not the worlds greatest Bohemian Pilsner but this is good.

I don't generally drink Mexican beers, and this was the first time I tried this brand and beer. I was quite surprised at how pleasant it was. This seemed like a light lager by appearance and taste, though the head was a little lacking. Consequently, the body was found to be light, yet the beer was flavorful, with a nice, almost malty, finish. The mouthfeel was similar to what one would find in most of the American large brew beers. Very drinkable and enjoyable!

Glad to see this correctly listed as a Pilsner now.
Pours a bright golden color with a nice fluffy white head.
Smells surprisingly hoppy and clean. No off smells at all, and the grain smell is inviting.
You can taste the sweet malt up-front, but the noble hops take over in the middle (not too strong) and carry through in the finish. It's not quite as hoppy as a Pils from Germany, but it's not that far. Considering the climate they're brewing for, that's assuredly intentional. I don't really pick up some of the lager yeast flavors that I enjoy (unsweet clover honey) but that's really the only knock on it.
Goes down like water and can be a good food pairing or even just a quencher.
Skip the lime. You'd never put a lime in a Veltins or Bitrburger, right?
My favorite Mexican beer by far. If you have this and Negra Modelo available, you can pretty much skip the other common Mexican beers.

Bohemia is a very drinkable, well balanced beer.
Pours a dark amber, with a moderate head. Has a great malty/spicey aroma.
I could taste the malt at the front end, and pleasent bitterness, and a nice crisp finish with a hint of hops. I would expect more bitterness from a Pilsner, but that is not a negative for me.
Overall an excellent beer for nice days outdoors.

After I fished the lime out of the bottleneck, I poured this into a glass.
Appearance: Pale yellow with a thin white head. So clear you could read a newspaper through it.
Smell: A little malt and fruitiness.
Taste: A little sweet pilsner malt flavor and a small but noticable fruitiness, but not from the lime. Tastes more like apple.
Mouthfeel: Nice and crisp.
Drinkability: A crisp, highly drinkable lager with just enough class to be interesting.

I found a 6 pk of these 12oz squatty brown bottles at Springbrook Liquors in Bloomingdale, IL for $7.99. It was one of the only Mexican beers I hadn't tried yet. There was no freshness date or any information about the beer on the skinny label, but if your Spanish is any good, the web site will give you tons of information about this beer.
The beer poured a crystal clear medium gold color with a ½-finger of white head that disappears rather quickly, leaving just a thin white rim. It leaves a surprisingly good amount of lacing on the glass with each sip.
The beer gives off a pleasant mild aroma of floral hops and a bit of spiciness.
The taste is good. Sweetness is held to a minimum with floral and spicy hops providing most of the flavor. At just 23 IBU's, you'd have to agree the hops do not impart a harsh bitterness, but are there for mild flavor and nice aroma. There is also a touch of citrusy zest in here to make it even more interesting.
Light and crisp mouthfeel with better than average carbonation.
This is a good Mexican beer and a nice example of a German pilsener. I will have no trouble finishing the other 5 bottles.

12 oz brown bottle with no freshness date. Very thin white lacing though it sticky quite well.
Slightly earthy hop with a spicy back, is this dry hopped or is it hop extract. Thick sweet graininess wraps around the hops to make the aroma somewhat intriguing.
Clean palate, perfect with all spicy foods and not just Mexican. Thin maltiness holds on to a sweet graininess, hops are not there just for the bitterness. Bitterness balances very well and there is a level lingering flavour of earthy floral hop. Clean dry grainy finish.
This is my top pale Mexican beer without a doubt.

I had this while eating at Don Pablo's. It's a little odd that this is a Mexican beer given it's name, but it didn't taste like most Mexican beers either. Meaning it was actually good! The pour left a pale bronze color with a small to medium head. Moderate lacing. The smell was a combination of sweet and spicy with the malts, hops, and yeast all working together. The taste began with a grainy flavor but I didn't get much of the huskiness I get in other Mexican beers. The hops are definitely a spicier flavor and balance out the grain malts really well. The body on this beer is thicker than most lagers and the finish is very thirst quenching. It matched my fajitas really well.

Served in a SA pint glass t Senor Panchos, Prospect, Conn.
A: The liquid poured a very clean-looking golden yellow with a very small head and little to no retention. Nice carbonation and a balanced look though.
S: Smells a little sweet and grainy, like sweetened rice cakes.
T: Taste is slightly sweet, clean and smooth, with a crisp bite of carbonation and a little hop dryness in the finish. Fairly non-descript corn and grain malts, but not bad.
M: Mouthfeel is crisp, clean and carbonated.
D: The lower ABV and great mouthfeel couple with a crisp flavor to give this Mexican lager good drinkability. It's not the most outstanding or interesting, but it's reliable and a safe bet.
This is a nice beer to have with any Mexican dish, like my Sante Fe burrito, or just for drinks with some of your amigos. Negra Modelo is still superior, in my mind, but Bohemia is a good call too.

One Mexican I hadn't tried, so I ordered one with my combo plate at the new Plazuelas restaurant in E-Burg. What a pleasant surprise. Nice pale color in the glass, with quite a bit of white foam that lasted for the first few sips. Icould tell from the pour that the mouthfeel (body, carbonation) would be better than I expected. Not much smell to speak of (though perhaps that is a good thing sometimes). Taste was, up front, malt... with a hint of floral hops. No off-tastes, no metallic or adjunct flavors to speak of; just a very nice, refreshing beer with a tiny bit of hops bitterness at the end of the swallor to keep you wanting to raise the glass. Great change of pace from the usual Mexican beers--and the food was good too. Nice all the way around.

Poured from a 12oz bottle, no freshness date provided.
Appearance- 3.5 out of 5. Light, transparent straw yellow that is a lot like a clear version of the foil wrapped around the neck of the bottle. The one-finger white head was disappointingly short-lived but did leave a bit of sticky lacing around the sides. Plump carbonation bubbles amble up from the bottom.
Smell- 3.5 out of 5. Don't allow this beer to warm up too much. At first, it opens up the flavors, but it ends up smelling like an old, rickety Mexican outhouse that Señora Sanchez forgot to clean for the past seventeen years; still, Bohemia smells great when it's cool. Sweet grainy malt and floral hops mingle with a bit of yeast.
Taste- 4 out of 5. Sweet, bready malt initially hits the tongue, followed by a strange but pleasant menagerie of citrus and grain. The most remarkable part of this beer is the gentle undertone of vanilla and peach. It wasn't at all what I was expecting, but it's good nonetheless. Although the usual mild hop bitterness is there, the Saaz hops also contribute a slightly corn-like taste that would go well with tortillas.
Mouthfeel- 4 out of 5. This beer is somewhat creamy but still thin overall. It's not nearly as watery as the Mexican piss-water known as Corona or its illegitimate half-brother, Sol.
Drinkability- 4 out of 5. Better than most Mexican beers out there. I definitely recommend it if you're at a local Mexican joint and want a cerveza to accompany your meal. It's full enough to have with a meal, yet light enough to drink quite a few of. Skip the Sols and Tecates and Coronas, and have a Bohemia instead.

I don'know if it's because I've been in Mexico for two weeks and limited to a choice between Corona, Dos Equis, or Modelo, but, this Bohemia was like Flamenco Dancers prancing about on my tongue - castanets nipping at my palate. In comparison to beer from Plzen, the Czech Republic, it is more than a respectable effort! Solid in all its attributes...a FINE pilsner! My favorite latino brew to date!

A-pours a straw yellow/golden with lots of cascading carbonation that builds a soft white fingers worth of fluff, some lacing as well
S-sweet bread and earthy with hops sticking out like a sore thumb
T-grainy and flavorful with grassy hops and a twist of citrus
M-strong presence on the tounge, light to medium body with carbonation that lasts and brings the hoppy bitterness to a dry soft finish
D-this was a nice suprise,I will be having this again soon, paired with fajitas these would go down easier than a ten dollar w#@*e

"I'm just a poor beer, nobody loves me;
He's just a poor beer from a poor brewery"
--from 'Bohemia Rhapsody' by Queen
Medium yellow-gold, a half notch short of amber. The beer would look better if it was filtered. The cap isn't bright white, but neither is it dark enough to be called eggshell. It displays good persistence and is stoney rather than rocky. A half-hearted attempt at lace results in an uneven, scalloped collar.
The nose is nice. It smells of sweet grain with more than a little spicy, earthy hoppiness. I can appreciate no off-aromas; thanks, no doubt, to the brown glass bottle (which ought to be mandatory). The more I smell, the more I like.
Surprise, surprise, surprise... Bohemia is good beer. It tastes quite a bit like it smells: fresh, lightly toasted grain bottom end; pleasantly bitter, hoppy top end. The hops are what really pull this beer out of the run-of-the-mill category. They're wonderfully spicy and herbal. Thankfully, the brewers didn't stint on amount.
The finish is hoppy-sweet and is too abbreviated. I've come to welcome the short finishes on most Mexican lagers because putting me out of my misery is infinitely preferable to extending it. I would love it if this beer lingered, though, since the flavor is so enjoyable. The mouthfeel is light-medium with a slightly prickly carbonation.
I wish to apologize to the good folks at Cerveceria Cuauhtemoc Moctezuma for the 'poor brewery' crack at the outset. The Bohemian/Bohemia Rhapsody play on words was just too good to pass up. Truth is, Bohemia is one fine Vienna lager and is a damn sight better than either Dos Equis or Carta Blanca. Looks like I have a new favorite Mexican beer. Salud!

Uno cervesa es muy bueno! My personal favorite bottles brew from Mexico. Nice 1/2" head when poured, setttles into an attractive lacing, smooth over the palate, nice pale amber hue, hints of vanilla and honey. NO BS & NO lime wedge needed here. DON"T FRUIT THE BEER!

Pours light golden yellow with a thin white head.
The smell is of soft grain with a subtle earthy spiciness. The smell is pleasant, but subdued.
The taste is of malty grain with earthy hop spicing background. Finishes a bit abruptly, but cleanly.
It just about reaches medium-bodied. The carbonation is a bit forward, but not too prickly or fizzy.
This is a pleasant surprise from Mexico. Sure beats the other Mexican beers of the same/similar style that I've had (by far). A good example of a Vienna Lager. I would say I liked it a bit more than the score reflects. A good brew to pair with Mexican (or any spicy) food, or as a "session" brew on its own.

Bought a single of this for $1.49 at my go-to store.
I was very surprised by this and I'm glad. I always saw these Mexican beers at the store and figured they were all Corona-type ones, but this is a solid beer for sure. Nice attractive look to it with some good ascending bubbles. Taste is mild but crisp and refreshing. There's a lot more taste than you would expect from the appearance which is good. A nice solid beer, would have it again in a pinch.

One of the best Commercial Mexican Beer I have had.
Pours nice clear color with minimal head.
Good Smell with a hint of honey on the nose.

Poured light golden color, with a white head that isn't much to brag about, and left no lacing really.
Smell has a sweet graininess, but smells good.
Taste is clean, crisp, malty and a little sweet graininess again. Hops balance this beer out perfectly and are there for that reason alone. Nice clean finish, but dryer then I would have preferred, this has a wonderful sweet flavor, just wished it lasted a little longer.
Mouthfeel is thin, not watery.
Overall, this is one excellent Mexican beer, my favorite out of the country by far.

Clear golden with a dense white head that leaves some decent looking lace on the glass. Slightly above average aroma with untoasted grain, mild noble hops and a faint soapiness. Pretty damn good for a Mexican Pils, creamy and mildly bready with brash hop flavor that sets this apart from standard Mexican fare, must be the dark brown bottle. Smooth and medium bodied with soft carbonation. A nice beer to wash down some enchiladas for sure.

Making tacos this evening so Bohemia it is. I had one recently out and thought it good so now I can take the time to really enjoy it.
Stout little brown bottle with no date to indicate when this beer would be freshest, now obviously but you get my meaning.
There is ample white head atop a pale golden and clear beer. notes in the nose are slightly grassy and a tiny bit floral. Good clean pilsner malt and herbal hops round out the taste.
Mouthfeel is light and refreshing with ample carbonation and a dry finish.
Very good drinkability and an overall rating higher than any other Mexican beer I can think of.
Slainte and bueno.

Nice, bright yellow color with good carbonation. Smells malty with mildly floral hops. The taste is among the best of Mexican beers I've had - a gentle integration of hops and malt, but far more interesting than a Modelo or Corona. As a German Pilsener, it does well for the style, with a thin and refreshing mouthfeel. Overall, this is a beer that complements food very nicely. Recommended!

Pale gold color, fairly clear. Lots of small bubbles. Small head.
Aroma:
Very crisp, grainy, a little spicy from the hops.
Taste:
Clean grainy up front along with crisp bitterness in the finish. Grainy, slight sweet, just a touch of hay. Spicy-earthy hops at the end, yet it's very crisp. Light bodied, very crisp and refreshing. Right amount of carbonation for the style.
Finish:
Spicy, yet very crisp.
Overall:
Very good for a Mexican made Pilsner.
