Rather watery, in appearance. Pale yellow of a macro. Ditto, the small, quickly dissapating head. Slightly fruity nose (grapes?), but other than that pretty much right down the middle of the road. There's an OK bitterness, but that's pretty much where this beer's unique offerings to Beerdom ends. Puny, weak mouthfeel. Generally bland, expected malt taste of cheap ajuncts. It seemed like there was a bit of an alcoholic kick behind it, but I see now the ABV is just 5.3%. Perhaps I noticed something just because it was relative to the beer's overall mediocrity. Grainy, dustry dry finish, which wasn't too bad. But I definitely won't seek this out again.
This was the first beer from a 12-beer sampler pack assembled by my (awesome) father in law as a birthday gift from the Blue Max (http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/1287/?view=beerfly). Many obscure, enticing porters and pub ales to explore. I'm glad this one is out of the way.

straw golden, short lasting white head, no lacing.
aroma and flavor = grainy with plenty of DMS... light hoppiness is way background... a bit of bitterness up front.
still pretty drinkable... Doubt I would buy again except when drinking with work buddies and making fajitas (again).

Looks thin, pale yellow with a weird almost electric tint, and little head.
Smells bread like with lots of skunky smells coming immediately out when I opened the bottle.
Tastes better than the smell indicates. Bread like, a bit malty, with little sweetness or bitterness.
Feels thicker than I thought it would.
Really a drinkable beer and I'm glad to have had it, but it's nothing to seek out.

Poured this German style pilsner from a 12 oz brown bottle into a pint glass. Poured a amber color, produced a off white head, decent retention and lacing left on the glass.
A foundation of sweet malted grain makes for a nice balance with the spicy hops. Well balanced and has some flavor. Not a bad choice if your looking for a Mexican beer to pair with some spicy food.

A- Poured from 12oz bottle into pint glass. Pours a golden straw color with a thin white head that lingers. Good lacing.
S- Not much to speak of here. I will say that i was in a Mexican restaurant with a lot going on making it difficult to pick up on the aroma. There was certainly no astringent aroma like I usually get with most Mexican beers. I did detect some sweetness and grain.
T- Much better than I expected. Too accustomed to the poor beers that I get at Mexican restaurants like Corona or Tecate. Sweet biscuiy taste foward, hop finish. A nice bite of hops that was quite a delightful surprise. Very smooth. Nice balance
M- Light body, clean and refreshing. Perfect carbonation.
O- By far the best Mexican option IMO. A really nice effort on a German Pils. Will be my go to beer when I am eating spicy Mexican food. The sweetness of this beer really suits well with the spice.
