Tecate light...a lighter version of Tecate and as in most Mexican beers taste best in the summer with a lime...however, judging Tecate light solo...its just another no frills cerveza! The beer poors golden clear with good carbonation that give a white foamy head for a brief time. The smell and taste are enhanced with grain. The hops help somewhat with the taste so that it is not bread water. Mouthfeel is easy especially on hot days...enjoy!

Served in a Lagunitas mason jar.

Yeah, I could have Tecate, but why risk all those unnecessary calories? This stuff pours a clear pale straw topped by a finger of lightly off-white foam. The nose comprises funky wheat, sweet corn, light white bread, and plenty of hard water. The taste brings in more of the same, with extra hard water and extra funk on the wheat. The body is pretty light, with a light moderate carbonation and a watery feel. Overall, this stuff is too weak on every front to be more enjoyable than a bottle of Evian. Pass.

Aromas of light stale beer, light corn, and some grain. Flavors are the same, not much else for a basic pale ale, watered down overall, nothing that makes this beer stand out. Decent overall due to the heat, but wouldn’t go out of my way to drink this one again.

Tecate Light has a pencil-thin, white head, some lacing, lots of streaming bubbles, and a clear, golden appearance. A close inspection will reveal floating, gray-white, tiny specs suspended throughout. The aroma is faint, but one can detect sweet grain. Taste is of sweet grain, malt, and a slight hop bitterness at the end. Mouthfeel is light and watery, of course, and Tecate Light finishes crisp, clean, refreshing, and thin. Overall, this is an excellent light beer, so it does the trick in its style category.

This has to be one of the worst beers I have ever tasted.

A- it pours with almost no head and reduces to a tiny white ring around the inside of the glass

S- the initial reaction i had upon my first sniff was that of a litter box. It smells terrible and I was so overwhelmed by the unpleasant odor I could not find any distinctive smells.

T- The taste is not spectacular by any means, it has a crisp, rather flavorless start with a wheaty, and also rather crisp finish. The lack of flavor is a good thing in this case, however what little flavor it does have, is awful.

M -The mouthfeel of this beer is the one aspect that is near-tolerable. It's crisp, watery, and it almost reminds me of pelligrino. In most beers this would be a bad thing, but considering the other traits of this beer it is a blessing.

O- overall I think this beer is very poor. It's meant to be drank ice cold in large quantities, and for that type of beer there are much better alternatives.

Small white head quickly dies leaving a thin lacing above a clear golden colored beer.

Light hops and yeast aroma on this beer, standard fare for this style of beer.

Light hops taste with a little yeast and maybe a bit of grain malts coming through.

Watery light mouth feel on this light bodied beer that has a light dry aftertaste with a slight bitter taste to it.

Same old song and dance kinda beer, maybe be alright on a real hot summer day when your out on the lake and there's not much choice. I had a hard time telling this apart from regular Tecate, so I guess that's a good thing for a light beer.
