330ml clear as sin bottle, part of a slightly sheltered six pack now available in Alberta.

This beer pours a super-clear, pale golden straw colour, with two skinny fingers of weakly foamy and wanly bubbly dirty white head, which leaves a few instances of Drool-esque (the slimer from Ghostbusters) lace around the glass as things quickly abate.

It smells of slightly acrid lemon pith, semi-sweet vegetal agave - more plant than the trendy syrup you see around these days - a muted, somewhat corn-tinged grainy malt, and an edgy white chalkiness. The taste is mixed, less than sweet sugary components - lemon candy, more unfamiliar green leafy, well, cactus notes, actual cheap sugar, plain as plain can be, er, 'malt' (the corn and/or rice isn't particularly overt, but, y'know), and the palest impression of Tequila that I have ever come across.

The bubbles are pretty low-key, manifesting in a minor frothiness, at best, the body medium-light in weight, for, well, anything, and smooth, I suppose, with a certain understated clamminess rising quickly against time. It finishes on the moderately sweet side, the so-called malt, neutered lemon, and not-yet-distilled Tequila essences ruling the roost.

Compared to this brewery's normal offerings, this is ok, though hardly worthy of future imbibings, especially giving the dear sixer prices around here. At least the sub-titular ingredients come through in the flavour, but given the lack of Turkish presence in World Cup 2014, I do not see this flying off the shelf, beyond yer typical Tequila crossover fanboy or girl.

Smell is of lemon and grain. The taste is kind of exciting at first--flavor! in my Turkish beer! some spice from the agave!--but I found that it felt grainier by the end of the bottle, and that the agave left an astringent aftertaste, with a soapy mouthfeel. Refreshing, I suppose, but nothing too exciting.

Pours a light golden yellow with a thin white head which recedes quickly to leave small lace clumps.

Strong lemon scent, with the agave supporting underneath. slightly noticeable malt.

grain malt taste with lemon growing towards the finish, with agave present consistently underneath.

Very smooth, interesting spice/ warm feeling from the agave, mild carbonation.

A very interesting, easy to drink. definitely capable of having a few. would love to try again my next time in turkey.
