I am familiar with Okocim's Porter so I eagerly jumped at the opportunity to try this one - Since it is a large bottle (0.5 l) I poured it into a large glass (over 0.5 l) - It poured a dark reddish-black with a large tight tan head which dissipated slightly leaving nice lacing - The aroma is immediately malty and sweet with hints of dark fruits - The taste is also malty and slightly sweet and fruity but very complex with hints of smoke (after all the malts are "fire roasted) around the edges - It is full-bodied and smooth and drinks really easily - It's not perfect but it certainly got my attention as a beer that I'd like to keep around

Poured from bottle into pilsner glass, nice fizzy white head, two fingers, that settles into a small cap. Liquid the color of polished dark wood, aroma of roasted coffee, caramel malts, sweet dark fruit (raisins, plums), dark breads, nuttiness. Taste follows, with an upfront smoky flavor that is reminiscent of Okocim Porter, but followed quickly by a sweet, raisin taste. Finishes clean.

Nice transparent red colour. Smell of roasted corn, not very pleasant. Taste medium bitter. Average, not very exciting.

This beer poured out as a nice looking brown color. The head was big and fluffy, the lacing was pretty good down the glass. The smell of the beer was roasts and had a bit of smoke on the nose as well. The taste of the beer was a lot like a porter, it's roasted and has a slight sweetness to it. The mouthfeel was a little lighter than expected but still not bad. Overall the beer was fun to try and I enjoyed it.

I poured this 1 pint .9 oz. bottle into a pilsner glass. No freshness date, but A.D. 1845 is printed on the bottom of the label, which I guess is cool. I do like the fiery dragon on the label.
A: clear, dark mahogany color, an aggressive pour produced a massive head, which I had room for thanks to my new 19 oz. Polish pilsner glass from IKEA! The cap is persistent and the lacing is tenacious. From this point on I will be disappointed by this beer...
S: sweet, raisin bread-like malt aroma, molasses, a bit of caramelly/vanillesque aroma is in there as well, and no discernible Euro-funk.
T: the dried-fruit sweetness hits up front, the vanilla is stronger than the caramel in the middle, and the finish has a bit of coffee, just a touch of smokiness, and a rumor of earthy hops. Even for a Euro lager, I find the taste to be a bit one-dimensional and cloyingly sweet.
M: light-bodied, watery to lightly silky texture, moderate carbonation. A bit more carbonation might have improved this beer, or maybe a hop leaf or two.
D: I have had other Polish beers that have impressed me. This beer is a resounding "meh."

Acquired this from tigg924 so a big THANK YOU goes out to him!
Consumed 5/4
A: This beer pours a deep dark brown, some lighter brown, coppery hues when held to the light. One finger of rocky, light brown head that holds nicely and leaves spotty lacing on the glass.
S: Nose is of caramel malts, bread/yeasty notes, and a hint of coffee.
T: Taste starts with some caramel malt sweetness, that dips in to a bit of breadiness. Charred malts and bitter chocolate then come through. Finish is coffee, hint of smoke, and a hint of grassy notes.
M: Light body, high carbonation, somewhat watery and a touch too carbonated.
D: Goes down relatively easy, decent representation of style. based off the nose, and tastes, I would have preferred a touch heavier body, but a decent beer non-the-less.

appearance: deep dark brown with copper highlights and low rising bubbles for a lager. dark ale looking.
smell: caramel and low hop aroma
taste: nice caramel taste from the malt and a little bitterness. more flavorable than a typical dark euro lager, very pleasant but slightly on the sweet side.
mouthfeel: medium bodied, but does have the cridp lager feeling
drinkability: again this is much dark than I expected and I really liked it.

Appearance: dark brown in color, minimal head, clear
Smell: smoke, caramel, coca cola, and toasted malt
Taste: caramel, touch of coffee, and small smoked malt
Mouthfeel: minimal carbonation, light bodied, smoky sweet, smooth
Drinkability: I really like this beer. There is a nice smokiness to this that is not overpowering. With the low abv, I could sip the four pack in a sitting.
