12 oz bottle poured into a tulip. Color is a copper-like blend of orange and red. It appears slightly hazy with good amount of carbonation.

Smell is surprisingly weak but pleasant. From the smell I expect a solid malt backbone. There are notes of orange in the hop aroma.

Taste is good but not unique. I really like the strong malts and sugars but am left wanting more hops. However, there are orange and other pleasant fruit tastes here and it is certainly enjoyable. It is not one of the more bitter IPAs and I appreciate that.

Looks good with a dark orange/amber color and a white sticky head. Aroma is fruity with apricot and other fruit.

Taste is very hoppy with little malt to back it up. It is not thin however. A decent mouthfeel makes this palatable. ABV does not seem to come through in the flavor.

A decent drinkable brew.

On tap at the Detroit airport. Review from notes.

Poured a nice deep amber with a frothy off-white head that lasted maybe a couple minutes. Translucent body. A biscuity and grainy aroma with a grassy and herbal kind of bitterness. The hop profile could use a little boost, as the malts seem to be slightly muted, although the entire beer could use a boost now that I think about it. Otherwise, a nice and creamy texture. Residual herbal and piney bitterness reminds me this is an IPA.

So i decided to get a 6 pack of this because i'm a fan of IPA's and i haven't had theirs yet.

A The color of this beer was a very dark amber, alot like Vernors or a ginger ale.. which i anticipated.

S The smell was just as any other ale. Citrus like and hoppy, very hoppy.

T The tast was delighful of course me being a IPA kinda guy. same characteristics as the smell. Once again, hoppy!

M Mouthfeel was carbonated not creamy at all just smooth but carbonated

In the end this wasn't a bad buy at all but now that i've had it i don't see myself going back to it, i know of plenty of others that are better and of course that are worse. I'd say try it but don't expect to be blown away.
