This is most definitely a regular's bar and I only pop in every once in a while to say hey since some buddies of mine used to work here. They have A TON of tv's so it's a good place to catch games and their special parties (Halloween!) can get pretty crazy. If you live around here, this is a great place to just go and hang out, but don't expect anything spectacular on draft or in bottles here. I've never had the food so I can't comment on that but I will tell you it's a smoking bar so you will stink when you leave.

Average joes should be their name....not tap anything!!!
8 brews on tap & 1 is bud light :'(
Very weak selection but waitstaff is very friendly. 1 beer & gone. Terrapin rye ale...
Smokey atmosphere but plenty of tv inches!
Fuggles, yuengling, wild blueberry, bud light, shipyard brown, shipyard export ale, shock top & magic hat 9. Bottled brew limited to basics that can be had anywhere. 3 pool tables, darts & video crack. Definitely a regulars bar. Wasted trip for me...But i was looking for good beer. Probably a good neighborhood bar.

Tap room? I don't think they had 10 taps?
The company website is hopefully more representative of the other location. This is a sports bar, very smokey, plenty of TV's, with some good beer on tap.
It offers some really excellent shipyard brews on-tap, but nothing else. I had the Fuggles IPA and their stout. Quickly enjoyed them & left.
They do have a pizza menu from across the street... apparantly some people do order pizza in.
Strange, weird, and in the middle of nowhere.
At least I made some nice purchases at Knightly Spirits down the street.

We went here through a pub crawl with the AHA/NHBC. It was our 2nd stop on the trip. And only about 6:30 or so. If you smoke, this is one of the few places you can smoke in, and it smells like it. It's a long rectangular room. Dark and not very decorative. A few TVs for viewing. Lots of tables in the middle, also pool tables. Barkeep was nice and accomodating to our group. I was surprised to see Seadog's Blue paw on tap. Also had their appricot ale. Asked for a sample, and got one with a smile. It was over the top appricot, but good, like the blue paw. Not a place I'd want to hang out at, but ok for a quick stop. Reminded me a lot of a biker bar, minus the bikers.

In a plaza/strip mall location=rather boring inside and outside. A pool table a couple of electronic dart boards(bummer I had my steel tips), lots of seating room with tables and a pretty cool touchscreen Bose jukebox. A large square bar area with about twelve taps. The bartender was friendly and efficient though I didn't discuss the beer much with her as I was too busy playing with the jukebox. It was rather slow since it was Sunday night therefore service really wasn't an issue. A pretty decent place, certainly better than your average Florida bar.

Strange place indead. Like a Frankenstein mix of a brewpub and sports bar. Can't decide which one it is, so it tries to be both and doesn't really fail or succeed at either.
The service was great. From Karen, who just started, to Anthony who had been there a while and actually had some knowledge about beer. Some, not a lot, but some.
They only serve Shipyard products and Native Florida on draught, which is to say they only serve Shipyard, because any self-respecting BA would steer clear of Native Florida.
They have samplers and even Old Thumper cask-conditioned.
The food was good. I had the Jamaican Jerk Wings. Not bad at all.
They have two pool tables, two dart boards, and some other stuff.
They offer a sampler which consists of six 4oz samples of your choice of their offerings. They were, and seem to always be, out of their famous our imfamous Toasted Coconut Porter. But I don't like coconut anyway.
Not a bad place, it what appears to be somewhat of a good beer desert.
I'm sure the place picks up a bit when it's dark. I will have to say that the place was nearly empty, but 80% of the woman there were fairly attractive. I don't know if these ratios hold up or not.

I just discovered this place opened in Orlando about 6 weeks ago. It is co-owned by Shipyard and features their beers, along with a few that they make specifically for this location from their Orlando Airport Brewery. There is also a sister location in Ft. Lauderdale that is co-owned by Shipyard and a different individual owner than the Orlando owner. Make sense I hope.
I visited here last sunday, it kind of appeared they were still "moving in". Several beer coasters displayed on the cross beams, nice long wooden bar, and the Mug Club set up above the bar, alot like Federal Jacks. The owner was present but was struggling with an air conditioner problem on this particular day, so I left him alone. The lady behind the bar was very nice, despite the searing heat inside and out. The selection was mainly the shipyard line-up of beers, including Old Thumper on Cask, which I sampled and thouroughly enjoyed. They also brew 3-4 local beers just for this location, including a highly touted Coconut Porter, which the bartender lady said was sold out, and they couldn't keep in stock.
There is a pool table up front, and several TV's located at all angles. A very nice set up. The thing out of place seemed to be more sports stuff on the walls than what you would expect at a beer place, but I think the owner's advertising is smart to start with the sports crowd first in Florida then get them into beers. They also carried bud, etc in bottles. I know the Shipyard line has fallen a bit in some ba's eyes, but make no mistake this is good news for Florida beer lovers, and should be a stop for ba's visiting the area.
The location is just about 5-10 minutes down Kirkman road from Universal Studios, 1-4, and the big rat. (Walt Disney World.) From the Universal Studios entrance on Kirkman, where the Kirkman Rd. Ale House is, go North about 5 minutes past Valencia CC. Turn left onto Raleigh St at the Walgreens and it's in a strip mall on the right about a mile down the road.
I will visit again soon, I'm sure the ac problem will be fixed and give a full report on the Florida Beers.
