I had this beer with an excellent lamb shank dinner, my thinking being the hop profile would cut through the richness well, luckily I'm a good thinker. 
It poured a very nice opaque colour, most reminiscent of apricot juice and tea. A nice white head quickly dissipated into oblivion which is strange as I've had this beer several times and previously it had quick a robust head; old bottle perhaps.
Zesty citrus hops to the forefront upon first sniff. I also detected some slight maltiness but not much. The nose is completely dominated by the "double hopped" beer. I couldn't wait to taste and pucker.
And pucker I did. There was hop bite right from the get go, very dry and astringent with mild citrus tones. This followed by some well balanced malting more interesting then I usually find in pilsners, darker malts maybe? The palate went back and forth between the hops and malt but the hops definitely took the upper hand. Notes of yeast due to the lack of filtration also crept in on occasion. Medium bodies in feel, definitely more viscous then I had anticipated. The strong hop presence gives it a bit of a rough edge but still very refreshing.
This is a fine, fine pilsner with everything you'd hope for. Very hoppy giving that nice refreshing bitterness, balanced with good but not overpowering malt sweetness. My only complaint is the lack of good head retention which also quickly dissipated the aromas. None the less it was still very refreshing and a go to pilsner for me.

Gold color, with a delicate mist, two-centimeter, white foam, is not permanent. The aroma of malt, honey with a sweet banana in the background, with notes of lemon, lime. Taste like earlier malt is mixed with notes of fruit and a whole seem perfectly balanced. The finish is only bitterness. There is perhaps an impressively high (IBU 45), but it is incredibly intense. Dry, slightly grassy, grapefruit saturation high.

Yellow colour with a good head with awesome retention, but the fact that this pilsener is unfiltered makes it look a bit less refreshing somehow. Strong smell of pilsener hops. Same goes for the taste: this pilsener is heavy on the (Saaz?)-hops. Bittersweet in the mouth, quite dry in the finish. Light to medium body, refreshing with a crispy finish. The beer is a bit monotone, but it's still a nice example how to make the pilsener style more interesting.

Meh, tastes more like a lager/pilsener.

33cl bottle, labeled as Christoffer Blond. Clear pale golden, with a tall, fine-grained white head with good retention. Smells like pilsner hops, honey, malt sugars and some generic hops. Bitter-sweet and as far away from a pilsener as I ever had, crisp and refreshing, with notes of bitter hops, honey, green hops and sugar. A bit spicy in the aftertaste. Very nice.

330ml Bottle in Café De Spuyt, Amsterdam (€5.50):
A very nice pilsner that went down quite nicely. The beer had an excellent balance with a solid fruity backing & plenty of flavours to keep you interested as well as remaining refreshing & easy to drink throughout. There was definitely more hops than I was expecting & the finish was quite a dry one but overall the beer was very good & well worth trying.
