Nice looking old building, right in the main street of this small tourist town in Door County, it has an island-type bar, horseshoe-shaped with stools all around.
Selection is reasonable, some belgians and germans, some english, Great Lakes and other nice locals. Taps were somewhat limited, with a better bottle selection.
I did not talk much about beer with the bartender but the service was efficient and courteous; granted, this was one week before the summer throngs arrive.
The only good bar for beers in town or around that I could find.

A sign on the door boasts 144 beers and when I enter I am shocked to see that its not fibbing. Two sets of shelves display a decent variety of regional craft brews, macros, macro imports, and a small handful of imported crafts. Im immediately impressed by the large selection of Bells beers. Prices were good. Ordered a pizza and just loved it. It came with a crispy thin crust, very plain basic sauce, fresh toppings, and loads of cheese. Seriously, it was the cheesiest pizza Ive had in a year. Service was average but did give me a free drink after the group I was with ordered 4 or 5 rounds. Great pizza, decent beers, good prices and fair enough service.

This is a old building and one with a long history of serving beer. I like the heritage and the feel. It is located right on the main drag in the small tourist town of Egg Harbor, not hard to find. The bar was a island style with stools in a horseshoe shape. Old bottles lined the wall. The taps numbered 13 and had the big imports, the typical swill, and some micros. I had the Capital Brewing Wisconsin Amber. It appeared to be staffed by college students who liked there chatting and card games more than serving customers. Still a place to go for a decent selection and some history.
