A: Pours a murky, dark marmalade color reminiscent of crystallized honey. Frothy white head with moderate lacing.
S: Sweet malts in the nose with notes of honey. Subtle banana aromas emerge as well; yeasty.
T: Very dry malts greet the palate, followed by a pleasant Belgian yeastiness which is balanced by a pronounced bitterness. Clean finish with just a touch of lemon pith and black pepper.
M: Medium bodied and well carbonated.
O: A faithful rendition of a Belgian blonde with a bitter, zesty finish for an interesting twist. Delicate and delicious if a bit overly bitter for the style.

A: The beer is hazy and a dark shade of golden yellow in color. It somewhat resembles a snow globe with lots of small yeast particles floating in suspension and being circulated around by the carbonation. The beer poured with a two finger high white head that gradually died down and left a short, dense head covering the surface.
S: Moderate aromas of earthy yeast are present in the nose along with some notes of peppery spices.
T: The taste resembles the smell, but is more complex having additional notes of biscuit and grainy malts, hints of floral hops and a very slight amount of bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is very easy to drink. The initial taste kind of reminded me like an American Blonde Ale but instead of becoming bland the flavors of this beer got a whole lot more interesting.

Pours a hazy deep yellow to orange-ish color with a white head. In the aroma, a mellow candy sugar. In the taste, some mellow hop presence, and a small candy sugar presence. A small hop bite and a medium to lighter bodied mouthfeel, with a small dry banana and fruity like aftertaste. Nothing really too exciting, but done decently well.

On tap at Teresa’s Next Door. Served in a tulip. Clear golden. Spice plus some earthy hops. Bit of pepper. Some mild stone fruit behind that. Light and crisp. Easy drinking.

Served from tap into a Trappe Door tulip. Poured a slightly hazy golden yellow with a three finger white head that subsided to one finger slowly. Maintained decent lacing throughout the glass. The aroma was comprised of sweet malt, wheat, banana, fruit, and spices. The flavor was of sweet malt, fruit, wheat, grain, earth, and earth hop. It had a light feel on the palate with medium carbonation. Overall this was a fairly good brew. For the style this was a fairly well put together brew. The flavor profile on this one was pretty nice with some nice sweetness and earthiness going on to keep your palate intrigued. The aroma on the other hand was a little bland which was rather unfortunate. It wasn’t that it didn’t have a lot going on, but rather the fact that I basically had to put my nose in the beer and snort it like cocaine in order to get anything off of it. Worth trying if you see it on tap or in bottles around you without a doubt.

Luckily picked this up with its counterpart (The Perfect Crime American Blonde) and happy to try them. I'm writing this review as a bit of comparison to that.
A - This one is a little lighter but still very golden not quite as much haze but lots of carbonation streaming up, head is bright white but with much smaller bubbles and less glacial upon dissipating
S - A good dose of yeast and some lighter malt notes, maybe a bit of lemon grass smell as well, its not quite as inviting as its counterpart
T - Spicy yeast at first sip that ebb more into a slight sweet malt but finishes with lemon grass, pepper and a good bit of dryness
O - Not bad, the taste was the highlight but still wasn't something that blows you away, a good take on the style with a pretty aggressive yeastiness to it. Enjoyed it though and would be happy to have it again.

Pours a hazy golden color with a tall white head. A fairly sweet, malty nose on this with notes of honey, bread, and biscuit. A moderate banana aroma along with some light spice notes, mostly pepper. Fairly heavy on the straw/grass, too. The flavor is moderately sweet with the same bread and biscuit qualities, though not the same honey that was present on the nose. Grass, straw, and pepper give a spicy and earthy finish, which is also on the dry side.

Poured into a Nostradamus flute glass. Pours a medium to dark somewhat cloudy, golden orange with a long lasting fine white head and lacing. Aroma of Belgian yeast and strong spicing, mildly soapy. Taste is Belgian yeast and spicing, light fruit with a strong citrus bitterness. Starts out like a typical Belgian pale, but the finish changes to a hybrid with an ale well hopped with citrus hops and a hint of Brett. Body is medium with a pleasant creaminess. Unusual and interesting, with perhaps a bit too much astringent bitterness from the spicing. I still enjoyed this quite a bit and will search it out again.
