On tap at the Herkimer. This beer arrives in a tall mug. It is a very cloudy burnt orange color which is spot on for the style. The head is two inches of dense white foam that recedes slowly leaving rings of lacing down the sides of the glass. The aroma is of ripe banana, a pleasant lactic tartness, and hints of toffee. The taste is similar to the aroma with a more pronounced zesty tartness that makes for a very refreshing beer. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with lively carbonation, and a smooth texture that borders on chewy. Overall, this is a wonderful beer that I will certainly drink again when it is available.
