This beer arrives a near black color. The head is an inch and a half in height, and tan in color. It recedes somewhat quickly into a small cap of foam. Lacing is minimal. The aroma is of caramel with hints of chocolate. The taste has a bit more depth than the aroma with more chocolate and some faint coffee notes. The mouthfeel is full bodied with lower carbonation, and a sticky cloying texture. Overall, this is a decent beer, and I'm sure a lot of people would like it. However, I think I will probably skip it net time.
