On tap at Pizza Port in Carlsbad, CA.
Pours a clear orange with a foamy tan head that settles to a film on top of the beer. Thin streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of citrus fruit, citrus zest, and malt. Taste is much the same with medium hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a good level of carbonation with a crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a good beer that is tasty and easy to drink.

Clear and dark orange and amber with a thin white head. Leaves small spots of lace down the glass.
Bready, simple aroma with a bit of sweet caramel. There's a mild, grassy hop presence but it's quite faraway.
Flavor follows the aroma. This is a simple, earthy, somewhat grassy IPA. The bready and slightly sweet malts are the highlight.
Medium mouthfeel with ample carbonation.
Not at all a bad beer, and while very drinkable, it's remarkably simple and even somewhat plain.

On tap at Pizza Port Carlsbad. An English-style IPA.
A: Very dark orange with a frothy white head that quickly recedes.
S: Sweet and malty, as I expected. It reminds me of sweetbread and caramel. Hops are submissive, presenting themselves as orange flesh.
T: Lots of bread with a little sweet caramel and a toasted malt aspect. The beer is moderately bitter with a little evident alcohol. The citrus is reminiscent of oranges with a pithy finish.
M: Medium in body with upper moderate carbonation. The mouthfeel is sticky and dry.
Overall: Not bad, just very malty and the malt profile doesn't scream England, which was what I hoped for.
