On-tap at Pizza Port San Clemente
Pours an amber sort of color with a white head. Nose is very heavy on the pine and floral hop notes, maybe a bit of citrus peel. Decent amount of bread aroma, too. The flavor is quite bitter with lots of pine and citrus peel. Lightly floral, but sort of one note and not as much hop flavor as I would have hoped for.

On tap at Pizza Port San Clemente.
A: Burnished gold with great clarity. Standard attractive Pizza Port hoppy beer. Finger of white froth. Nice retention with lots of lacing.
S: Dank aroma with pine and citrus rind. Malt is crackery with a touch of bread and a little mango with a few swirls of the wine glass. Nice Chinook aroma.
T: Dry and quite bitter with notes of orange pith and grapefruit rind. There's a touch of spicy grapefruit flesh with a little pine. Malt mostly stays out of the way and contributes no sweetness. The finish is dry, bitter, and clean.
M: Lower medium body with upper medium carbonation. Very dry mouthfeel.
Overall: A bitter and dry pale ale that wants for hop expression in the flavor. It's still pretty nice, though.

Ordered a half pint of Chinooky (with a "y") Pale Ale this afternoon. Paired with a small Pizza Solana.
Appearance: Arrived with a crystal clear, golden body and goopy, white cap. The head retains very well throughout the entire session and coats the glass walls in thick, web-like lace as it descends. No complaints here; this one looks excellent!
Smell: Subdued crystal malts blend well with pine and lemon zest. A clean, grainy backbone can be found on deeper whiffs, and with time I also detected mango and orange. Hop-forward, fruity, and pleasant.
Taste: Chinook hops are the main player here; pine resin and sharp citrus own the flavor profile. A grainy backbone merely provides the framework and adds a touch of sweetness. Don't mistake this for a palate wrecker though; the bitterness is certainly manageable; the malts (in typical west coast fashion) play a very subtle role.
Mouthfeel: Light-to-medium in body with ultra-fine carbonation and a resinous finish. A tad chewier and more bitter than your standard pale ale, though still remarkably smooth and enjoyable.
Overall: This proved to be a perfect choice on a warm, San Diego afternoon. Delicately crafted, refreshing, and smooth. Fantastic example of a west coast pale ale.

Pours a dark golden orange with a nice bit of white head. Vry nice carb level. Smells like a blast of chinook hops. A pretty nice aroma. Tastes hoppy and simple. Chinook hops all the way. Vry bitter which hurts the beer. The hops are pretty much all that's going on and the bitterness is abrasive and hurt the beer. Overall i am disappointed i have a full pint of this one

New beer on tap at San Clemente. Hilarious and genius name. The picture on the board has the head of Snooki the South Park version on it.
Poured into a pint glass. Pours a copper fairly clear color. Film white head. Pretty good lacing.
Aroma isn't much. But has a decent pale ale malt smell with an ok hop aroma. Could use more hop aroma.
Taste is pretty good. Nice malty character and bubbles hit your tongue first. Then a strong almost IPA bitterness. Could use a little more hop flavor but not bad. Pretty bitter for an APA.
Mouthfeel is dry mostly because of the hops. High carb.
Overall a tasty offering. Would have it again for sure. Mostly love the name. It's genious
