Giant head! Definitely the most giant head I have seen when poured into a glass. I don't know if it was just this particular bottle, but it was a sight to see. Citrus, massive pine notes. Good balance of orange like smell and gigantic hops. Great taste... tons of hops finishing with a little bit of sweet malt, that goes back to the bitter again at the end of it. I love the lingering bitter bite it has. Mouthfeel is very full, but also quite syrupy and resin like. Great beer. One of the best IPAs I have had.

What can I say more than: I simply love this beer.

The appearance is a golden orange hue, with a slight haze from the hop and yeast sediment left in the bottle-conditioned beer (detractors call these "floaties"). I will take half a point off, because I do not drink the last 1/4" inch of the yeasty brew.

Smells like citrus, hops, and floral yeast notes. Delicious.

Tastes like mango, orange, with a distinctly hop-forward finished. Not overly bitter, dry and not sweet.

Mouthfeel is INCREDIBLE! Love the bottle-conditioned carbonation levels - nice chewy beer. Mouthfeel may be the number one reason that I love this beer.

Overall, I will always seek out and drink MONGO!
