From notes:
On tap at Publick House on marathon monday.
A- Sits a nice hazy bright orange & hay hue. A light white head sits and lingers well. Some lacing.
S- Smell is great. Lots of crisp fresh tropical fruit. Mango, orange zest and a slight touch of apricot, which lends some sweetness.
T- Wow, a upfront blast of bright fruity hops. Clean and crisp. Lots of citrus notes. Slight malt for the body. Bitterness is big but is done in a very pleasant manner.
M- The hops are very bold, but do not sit too heavy or cloying on palate. Def a full bodied brew, but the body is mild light and really fits well with the flavor profile. Doesn't attack palate with bitterness in a negative or abrasive manner. Crisp and lingering.
O- A really great IIPA. I am impressed, I had a RIS prior to this beer and it really cleaned up my palate and was super juicy. I recommend this to those who are seeking a very crisp and juicy hop dominant beer.

A: Burned orange color, clear.
S: Citrus, some tropical fruit, lots of pine resin.
T: Big pine notes with more subtle tropical fruit. Smaller malt profile on this than on the Hop 15.
M: Crisp, clean and nicely carbonated.
O: This was a really decent DIPA. Finishes dry. A pretty good example of a west coast IPA.

What can I say more than: I simply love this beer.
The appearance is a golden orange hue, with a slight haze from the hop and yeast sediment left in the bottle-conditioned beer (detractors call these "floaties"). I will take half a point off, because I do not drink the last 1/4" inch of the yeasty brew.
Smells like citrus, hops, and floral yeast notes. Delicious.
Tastes like mango, orange, with a distinctly hop-forward finished. Not overly bitter, dry and not sweet.
Mouthfeel is INCREDIBLE! Love the bottle-conditioned carbonation levels - nice chewy beer. Mouthfeel may be the number one reason that I love this beer.
Overall, I will always seek out and drink MONGO!
