This IPA had a nice honey color. It was lighter than other IPAs I've had, hops-wise. It lingered in the back of my throat and the tip of my tongue, but not unpleasantly. It had a thicker head than the other two Full Sails I tried, but it's still a pretty thin beer overall. It's a satisfactory beer, but nothing too special.

Ba Review #274

Labeled ABV: 6%

This was a 12oz bottle from a full case I found at Brewskees of New Oxford ($31.59).
Look: Poured a super clear bronze color with some minimal carbonation and lacing.
Smell: Some faint notes of fresh cut grass. Also some signs of fusel alcohol.
Taste: Not much for taste. First up was some notes of citrus. Then a bitterness set in. The finish had some sort of fusel alcohol notes. Almost like this batch fermented a little too hot. Finish was clean.
I have to admit, I’ve had homebrew batches turn out better than this one. The off flavors really take away from the drinkability, otherwise the beer would atleast have that going for it.
