I always like to see "independently owned" on a label so I picked this one up. Also, a fan of sailing. Not necessarily a good reason to buy a beer, but it is what it is.

Pours a nice golden and clear hue, but the light and wispy head is uneven, with pockets of large bubbles. Laces are weak.

Smells of citrus, grassy hops, and other floral aromas. Hmm, Oregon right? Smells like it.

Taste is upfront biting, with strong hop notes and very active carbonation, but aftertaste is watery and loose. Yet, it does not stick to the palate, so it balances out. Again flavors of citrus fruit and grassy hops.

As I drink this on a warm spring evening, I dream of summer nights where this beer would be ideal for a refreshing but not too heavy option on a New England beach or roof-top party.
