Our Amber is a sweet, malty, medium-bodied ale with a spicy, floral hop finish. It's brewed with 2-row Pale, Crystal and Chocolate malts. And we hop it with Mt. Hoods and Cascades. We're as proud of it today as we were back in '89. And over the years it's earned more than 25 Gold Medals. Not that we're keeping track or anything.

Dumped 12 oz. in to my German dimple mug, glad to see a new brewery in the MA. market.
A: Pours a nice deep red color with an off white head which kinda dissipated extremely quick, I'm going to blame my glass a bit on the tiny head. Loving the color on this thing.
S: Definitely getting hit with some nice citrus hops right off that bat here. There's also a hint of sweetness and a mild earth smell as well, but the citrus seems to be the most dominating smell I get.
T: Taste very similar to the nose I get hit with a citrus bite up front then transition into a sweet and earth malts and finishes with a pine earthy drying finish. Also noticing as it warms up the hops back down and you get a great bit of fruit taste as well. Very balanced beer here, extremely well crafted.
M: Has a fairly thick feel to it for the style. Has that drying back of the throat feel going on here, cause I'm slugging it down so fast my mouth can't produce enough saliva to help my mouth from drying out.
D: Extremely drinkable here wouldn't or couldn't tell it was 5.5% until I scanned the bottle, also the balance that this beer shows is what makes it one of that best amber ale's I've ever came across.

Look: Clear amber in color with a lively pure white head that quickly settles to a thin film and leaves minimal lacing behind
Aroma: Warm brown bread, caramel, toffee, light earthy notes, and fruity esters abound
Taste: Sweet bready malt and toffee show up first and soon joined by caramel along with some earthiness. More caramel malt carries the middle along with some light fruity esters and closes with more bready goodness and some toffee
Mouthfeel: Full, soft, medium-high carbonation, and a smooth and soft finish
Overall: I dig it. One of the first micros I ever cut my beer geek teeth on and it’s still a tasty and solid amber ale. Good bready malt, caramel, toffee, a light hp undertone, and smooth throughout. Delicious, especially for a no-nonsense, I-just-want-a-beer-type mood

L: Pours an amber color with no head really.
S: Super malty upfront, faint amount of hops, fruity.
T: The malt flavor is the main one i'm tasting, really good though. Subtle hop bite.
F: Medium-bodied, high carbonation, smooth.
O: Decent amber ale, worth the try.

Not sure how I hadn't had this one yet. Solid amber, no real bells or whistles. Pours standard amber ale with a finger of white bubbles. Toasty caramel malts, smoke, and nuts present in the nose. Taste has same flavors but with a biscuit malt backbone and a hint of lemon on the finish. Feel is malty and medium bodied, with decent carbonation.
