First produced by Hugh Tennent at Wellpark in 1885, our flagship brand has long been established as Scotland's best-selling pint. Tennent's Lager is brewed to meticulously high standards, using exceptional ingredients and characterised by its clean taste and refreshingly crisp finish - best served ice cold. Having maintained its popularity in the face of changing tastes and fashions, Tennent's Lager has also earned widespread acclaim for its staunch commitment to football and music in Scotland.

Just your average lager. Nothing here really makes it stand out. The most that can be said about it is that it shares the same characteristics with bud light.
I do have this to say bout this beer, it did become a tad interesting when it warmed up a little but nothing to make me say wow.
This is just your standard, mostly tasteless lager that you can buy anywhere in the store. Ah well. At least I got a nice glass from the Winking Lizard.

11.2 oz (331 ml) into pint glass. foam quickly fades. Barely detectable smell. Slightly sweet taste but not sickly.
much better than many American styles. sometimes expensive isn't always better. goes well with haggis and fish-n-chips, etc. refreshing. we used to get the 440 ml can on the ferry ride from edinburgh to the islands as well.

I am trying a pint of this beer off the tapper at the Glasgow airport. It poured a clear golden with thin white head that is leaving some nice lace. The scent had grain and white wine notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink. There was grain and finishing hop presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a good beer.

2011: 440 ml can, as Wellpark Tennent’s, brewed at Wellpark Brewery, Glasgow. Bought in Spain. ABV is 4.0%. "Lager" is not part of the beer’s name, but I assume this is just a slightly weaker version of the ordinary Tennent’s Lager. Golden colour, moderate white head, some lacing. Weak sweetish and "industrial" aroma. Fairly refreshing flavour, tolerable hops, and not quite as thin as feared from a 4.0% lager.

This is a popular standard pint here in Scotland at the pub, while it isn't my favourite it surely is a well balanced drink, light lager, mellow taste and color. It's nice served chilled and goes really well with almost any food compared to any other lager or beer I've tried.

De color ambar, de cuerpo ligero y carbonatación media. Con un cordón de espuma de retención media. Aroma a malta y cereales. En boca tiene un ligero amargor y un final dulce.
