300 ml bottle, poured into a weizen glass. ABV 6,4%.
Nice appearance witha slighty hazy, chestnut colour. Lazy bubbles in the glass are finding their way to the surface. On top of the beer a nice, off white soapy head, two fingers tall. Good retention, it leaves some pretty lacing around the glass.
Aroma is of roasted malts, a bit of wheat and caramel, all very faint.
Taste of caramel and of the roasted malts mostly, a bit metallic. Leaves a very slighty bitter aftertaste, pleasant though.
Medium thin body, average carbonation.
Overall another good beer from Texel island and as the time passes while I am drinking it, the more it grows on me. Solid.

Skimme, a story of men lost at sea in 1610.
0.33 cl. bottle.
Red brown, huge head. Slightly cloudy, but there's carbonation to be been.
Smell and taste faint of citric and spicy hops. Tasting reveals the roasty aroma of barley malts. Some breadyness. Not much else.
Mouthfeel is medium. The aftertaste is a good deal of bitterness and spice.
An OK brew.

Had on tap at Gollum in Amsterdam.
Pours a reddish hue with a full head that leaves behind thick lace.
A banana aroma takes center stage in the nose, with German malts and faint hint of hops mixing in.
The mouth is full of cherries and German malts, with a hint Belgian yeasts and slight hops flavors.
Overall very enjoyable.
