From quick notes I took.
Bottle 300 ml, Light caramel aroma, clear red-brownish colour, mildly carbonated, light to medium body, sweet taste with bitter aftertaste.
I promise to edit this review to a more detailed one, once I got this beer again in my hands. Soon..

Look: the beer pours a hazy brown color with a medium head.
Smell: Roasted malts, caramel, dark fruits and some very light spicy hops
Taste: Quite simple; roasted malts, caramel and dark fruits again. Light bitter aftertaste
Mouthfeel: high carbonation,medium bodied
Overall: Nice, but there are many better dubbel beers around for the same price

I had this beer in a hotelbar in Bergen at Sea, the Dutch Northsea coast. This is one good dubbel when you know it is made in Holland. Do not compare it with the Belgian dubbels....
Poured in the original glass the beer has a darkbrown fluid with a nice broken white head. The beer is a bit sweet but very drinkable. With some more body it would have been much better.

Dutch brew, 33 cl. bottle.
Not a bad one either.
Looks excellent with massive carbonation in a ruby coloured clear ale, cream colour head.
Aroma of sweet roasted caramel 'n malts. Some light hints of dried fruits too.
Taste is maybe a bit bland: not much of the expected roasty character is left, and apart from the good balance between sweet and bitterness, and a bit of spicyness too, there's less than the smell promised.
Pouring the sediment does give it body.
Mouthfeel is smooth for sure. Easy lingering aftertaste.
Refreshing carbonation.

A: Hazy brown/amber color because of the yeast and a one finger light brown head. Some lacing remains.
S: Roasted malts, caramel, dark fruits.
T: Roasted malts, caramel, plum and raisins.
M: Rather high carbonation for the style and a medium body. Light creamy texture.
D: Good. I have a weak spot for the Texel beers in general but there are much better dubbels.

Caramelly, yeasty, flavours dominate. Quite dry and mild, with some mild tartness, quite Belgian in character, enjoyable. A decent dubbel, quite drinkable. Didn't think it was anything too complex about, but mild and dry enough in flavour to be enjoyable(Bottle-GBBF 03')
