Since I was in town I figured I'd stop in.
Atmosphere: Excellent. No tv's and the music was quietly in the background. I'd have liked a tv to watch a game but the overall vibe of the place made me forget about it after about 2 minutes. General mix of young and old, and beer geeks.
Quality: Great. Everything was clean and many beers were served in their own apropriate glassware.
Service: I sat at the bar, and while it was busy I never had to wait for anything. The bartender was knowledgeable and very friendly.
Selection: In a word, unparalleled. There were only about 15-20 taps, but in that were a few local brews with a split of domestic and imports, with a great variant of styles. And once you're done there move on to the bottle list. There are literally hundreds available, with a ton of Begians on the list.
Food: I had the burger, pretty good. The potato wedges were quite tasty, I'd come back for those alone.
Value: Prices were pretty decent across the board.
Thoughts: This place is the quinessential beer bar. Excellent vibe and a selection like none other. If you're a beer lover and find yourself in the Atlanta area (or anyplace nearby) this place is a must visit.

Just got back from the Brick Store Pub. Probably my favorite Beer Bar in Atlanta, and possibly anywhere. Very cool place. The atmosphere is "old European" pub-esque. The service is friendly, if not a little on the slow side. The nice part is that they rent in any hurry to get you out, which I really appreciate.
Their beer list is second to none. Their cellar contains a variety of Cantillon, Drie Fonteinen, Fantome, just to name a few. I had a superb 2008 Stille Nacht. I didn't see a lot that they didn't have.
The earlier, dinner crowd, was mid thirties and older. As the evening moved along, the crowd go younger, but wasn't "out of control".
Prices were inline with any beer bar. Yeah...if you want Cantillon, expect to pay premium. No surprise there, but the prices were in line, if not a hair better than other places I've been to.
Try it..you'll like it!
