I have been to the Brick Store on a handful of occasions. Sure there are places with more taps than this place but the selection is generally top notch. The beer list is quite impressive also. What I really enjoy is the cellar beer list.. There some serious whalz...
Food is fantastic also. I have had the pimento cheese which was damn good. The Shepard's daughter's pie was tasty as well.
If I had a complaint is the service. If you are at the bar you are good to go. The 2 times I have had to sit at a table the service was virtually invisible.
Overall this is a classy place, good beer that is well priced for a bar and food as well.
In my opinion this is a must stop to anyone that has the chance.

Of course I had to go the famous Brick Store in my one and only visit to Decatur. It was rather busy in a weekday evening, but the wife and I found a seat at the bar... she had been there a couple of nights before and the friendly bartender remembered her.

The atmosphere is cozy and warm, kind of dark, feels like a place frequented by locals... it's got that hunting-lodge feel. Tables at the front, then the bar and an upstairs area with more tables.

I counted 15 taps (not the 25 BA lists): Allagash Interlude, Brooklyn Black Choco Stout, Bruery 5 Golden Rings, Founders Backwood Bastard, Westbrook IPA, Mikkeller From Via To... plus a bunch of Belgians.

Servers are sort of hipster-ish/hippie-ish, what with their beards and plaid shirts, but they're all approachable and cool. Ravi Shankar playing on the stereo to boot! Weird and cool.

I wasn't super impressed with this place but I'm glad I stopped by and checked it out. Next time I'll go to Leon's and see what's up.

I've been here twice and enjoyed both visits immensely. On my first visit they were extremely busy and we had to wait for 15 minutes for a table, but we still had good service. The last time they weren't busy at all and our server had time to suggest beers and he seemed fairly knowledgeable.

I've had the fish and chips and the chicken tenders and both were really good for pub food.

BUT, if you're at the Brick Store Pub you're probably there for the BEER and their selection does not disappoint . Great selection of taps and bottles. If there is a new special release, they probably have it. They have proper glassware and even match the glassware to the brewery when possible. Belgian bar upstairs. What else could you ask for?

I'll continue to visit the Brick Store Pub when in the area.

This is my favorite place to take out-of-town people, or my "beer friends" that want to step out. I have been ~6 times, and every time it is better and better. I was initially brought by friends who know one of the owners, and got quite a nice tour. But they are open to every one looking into the "upstairs cellar," which has an amazing variety of vintages, and many beers you can't just "find" in GA.

Awesome place!

Brick Store was probably my favorite restaurant in Atlanta, not so much for the food - although the Brick Burger is solid - but for the awesome selection of beer, and the atmosphere. They consistently have a number of world-class beers on tap, and a huge selection of bottles. Only downsides are the occasional difficulty in getting a table, especially for large parties, and prices aren't exactly cheap. Still, my go-to place in Atlanta.

Incredible place. Been here many times, and it is by far my favorite beer bar. It has a pretty cozy pub atmosphere, but can get pretty crowded on nights and weekends. The food is pretty good (only tried a few appetizers), but the beer selection is incredible - tons of Belgian beers that I've never seen at other bars. If you want a good beer in Atlanta, this is the place to go.

Just excellent. I've been twice, and can't wait to return. The staff is incredibly knowledgable, unfortunately the place can just get too busy for them to be able to talk. The upstairs atmosphere is really cool, and their food is solid. Not anything that is a culinary masterpiece, but they have sufficiently mastered bar food.

Located in downtown Decatur, this has become a destination for local beer aficionados as well as a local hangout. This makes the locale often very crowded, as well as making parking difficult to find. Prices, while not cheap, are about what you should expect to pay for the quality of the offerings. All the beers are served in the appropriate glassware, usually branded from the brewery, a feature I have found nowhere else. Food is along the lines of traditional English pub fare dressed up, but the main attraction is the beer and the atmosphere, not the food. If you love up-and-coming downtown areas, with quality libations, this is a good place to chill, if you don't mind being forced to rub elbows with everyone else who shares your taste.

Just moved to Atlanta this week, and from what I've seen online, I knew to head to BSP as soon as I could for a bite and a drink. Today happened to be Christmas in July, so got to sample some vintage Delirium Noel, and some Bruery 3 French Hens. The pub has great prices on beers, most of the drafts they have at the downstairs bar run less than $6, which is a pretty damn good price. Ordered some food while I was there, started off with the popcorn, and I must say it was damn tasty. Then I got the Fish and Chips, and I must say they were also damn good. The environment of the pub is very unique and very awesome. Will return very soon, thinking this may become my go-to.

I love BSP so I might be a little biased. Not the most taps in the Atlanta area, but certainly the most interesting. On my last visit they had two IIPA and two Imperial Stouts on tap. They always have St. Bernardus Abt. 12, Guinness, Weihenstephan Hefeweissbier, and Well's Bombardier on draft and the other 20-something lines are a toss-up. The upstairs bar is all Belgian and tends to have something I've never heard of. The bottle selection is excellent, but I never resort to it since I'm always entertained by the draft selection. Usually beers run 5-8 dollars (average 6) for the appropriate sized glass (Pint/Snifter). The food is also quite good for a pub, may I suggest the Volcano? Service can be a little lacking on a Friday night, but that's simply because they are so swamped. When less busy, the staff is full of helpful suggestions and has rarely steered me wrong. In all, an excellent place to enjoy beer.
