I stopped in the new location (across the street from the old spot) to kill some time before a job interview and left with a 6er and a couple bombers.
The new building is still in a strip mall, but its a nicer strip mall. There is more space than in the previous location. It was very dark inside, but this could have been because I walked in as they opened. The staff was more than happy to help but I didn't have anything to ask.
They have a large selection of cold singles and lots of 22oz bottles. They have a great selection of Michigan and some other midwest beers. There were several Cali breweries around but there wasn't a whole lot else. I didn't find anything special or hard to find. Pricing was what I expected and seemed fair to me.
They also have a walk-in humidor, thought I don't smoke so I can't speak to selection or pricing of cigars.
There is also an extensive wine and liquor selection, but I'm not really into that either.

quality: 3 | service: 3 | selection: 3.5 | $$$
I ran across Schuler's Wine Cellar whilst in search of coffee after a fine day spent at Founders. Their primary focus seems to be wine, however, they seem to carry a fairly extensive selection of micro brews.
Quality: The beer seemed to be fresh and was kept away from natural light. No complaints with anything I purchased.
Service: The initial help we received was just that, help. The man who approached us was helpful, and he seemed generally interested in recommending beers that we would appreciate. At the counter, the service was less than exceptional, in fact, it was atrocious. The fellow who deigned to speak to us did almost everything possible to insinuate that our taste in beer was poor and to make us feel unwelcome in the store. He personified everything I dislike about insular cultures in general and beer snobs in particular...and we weren't even buying macro...merely a few locals that he didn't think were particularly good.
The score that I've given in service reflects an average of exceptional (the initial help) and terrible (the man at the counter) but said counter service was poor enough that I doubt I will ever shop at this store again.
Selection: The selection at the store seemed to be quite good for the area...a good number of harder to find locals, as well as fairly unusual offerings such as Deus and a variety of other Belgian style beers.
Value: Slightly below average. Most beers seemed to be a quarter or two more expensive than usual and the wines seemed to be marked up a couple of dollars over what I'm used to. Reflective of the neighbourhood though.
Overall: I like the selection of the store, but I doubt I will go back due to the service isssues outlined above.

vibe: 2.5 | quality: 3.5 | service: 2 | selection: 3 | $$$
Atmosphere: I don't spend too much time here. The good stuff is in such a small place if there are a few people in there you can get in each other's way pretty often.
Quality: Plenty of cooler space, and also a fair amount of shelves as well. Beers sorted by state. Mix and match sixers which is starting to become the norm. Most of the beer is in the back of the store and out of the sunlight. There are some bottles which have been there a while.
Service: The service here is basically nonexistent. I usually come to this store in the middle of the day, and still don't get help, even when I am the only one in the store. It seems there is only one employee working at a time who doesn't come from behind the counter.
Selection: Nothing spectacular. They always have a decent amount of locals and some other interesting stuff, but nothing that I would go out of my way for. Smaller store, smaller selection. Really haven't seen anything new here for a while as well.
Value: When I come here I usually expect to see a little higher prices. Nothing outrageous, just higher than usual.

I've visited Schuler's a few times and found that it decent, but nothing specials... well, NO MORE!
I was on a run today and it was close to 100 degrees. On my way back home, I felt a little woozy, so i didn't think twice about grabbing the hose in front of D. Schuler's to down some water so I wouldn't pass out. After I turned the hose off, I was ripped a new one by the store's owner for using his hose. He told me never to use it again. I tried to explain in a respectful way that I really needed a drink and he continued to berate me. I knew that nothing that I could say would calm this jerk down, so I left to finish my run.
