Appearance: It pours a dark brown, not black, body with a light amount of carbonation. Honestly, it does not look like an attractive beer.

Smell: Sweet malts and dark fruits, like raisin and grape, are noticeable.

Taste: Almost the same as the smell except there is a hint of hops with a dry aftertaste. I have had better but it is still a well balanced beer.

Mouth feel: It is slightly watery with a refreshing amount of carbonation.

Overall: This is a nice attempt at a Dunkel but not as complex as other representatives of the style. It is not a bad beer but I would not call it fantastic either.
