Took a beer trip from CT to this place and I am very glad that I did. Exit 13b off 91-North. Basically a walmart full of booze. Huge selection of beers that we can't get down here in CT They have a bunch of the ones that I learned to love while I was stationed in San Diego, Stone, Alesmith, Bear Republic, Moylan, Avery, Great Divide etc. It took me about an hour just to calm down an play eenie meenie miny mo down the two gigantor long isles of 22oz. bombers, 6ixers, 4packs etc of locals, regionals, micros, and imports. Really a very good selection and very good prices. They help was very nice and didn't mind looking for a couple special bottles for me. I'd like to make a pilgrimage to this spot at least once a month.

Addition, I called them looking for a special beer, they didn't have it in stock but their store in Northampton did, the next day shipped that beer from NH to the West Springfield location no charge, no problem, GREAT SERVICE!

Cheers!

Holy moly.

This place is incredible. It is an absolute beer heaven. A gift from the gods. Though they do not have everything(how can any store), they sure got enough. They have three full long aisles devoted just to beer. Two for just imports and microbrews. The importa are all sorted by country also. Then on top of that they have coolers that span the back of the store filled with different beers. I walked this place for close to 20 minutes before i could figure out what i wanted. To many choices. When i checked out the cashier was extremely friendly also. This place gets an A+ all the way around for me. You've gotta check this place out.

WOW! This place ROCKS! I was driving up to VT and stopped by the COSTCO nearby to buy another cooler that can hold two 1/6 barrel kegs. It was early morning and COSTCO wasn't open yet. I am so glad I found this place as this is the best beer store I have ever been to. They had two maybe three full "grocery store sized" aisles just of beer, including the largest selections of Belgiums I had ever seen. Next was the largest section of Crafts I had ever seen. So many beers from some really small New England breweries. It was hard not to spend $300...but I tried. The folks working were so nice. I met Steve the store manager who was extremely helpful. I was having car problems as my Jeep's Car Alarm kept going off for no reason. They staff was helpful not because it was their job. The were helpful because they wanted to be.

GREAT HOURS TOO!

Formerly called Town & Country Liquors, Table & Vine can aptly be called a supermarket of beer, because that's literally how big it is. The entire store is the size of a grocery store, and their beer section alone could fill most average sized package stores. And their selection is awesome, lots of European imports, and a great collection of regional offerings from microbrewers. And for what it's worth, they tend to have very fresh BMC products. They also sell kegs of all flavors and sizes. The employees were always friendly and helpful when I had gone into, and some of them were pretty knowledgeable about beer, and wine, if you're into that. This is a great place to stock up at; whether its a 30 rack for a party, or a growler of Steel Rail, T & V is unbeatable. Not to be missed.

This is the best beer store I've ever been to. You can read the other reviews to get a sense of store layout, here are my personal highlights:

1. The service is incredible. Last time I was there starting at the aisle long shelf full of American micros, I was asked if I need any help by the assistant brewer from Amherst Brewing Company who also happens to work there. The staff know beer!

2. If you show up on a weekend chances are they are doing tastings. Last time I was there they were doing tastings of Newport Storm.

3. TONS of cold beer in the back. Lots of bombers and packaged growlers.

4. Fancy foods. Pick up some cheese to go with those beers!

5. Imports are divided by country, Belgians are separated from other imports entirely. Macros are the last aisle and you can avoid it completely.

6. Convenience, its right off the highway (91).

Visited this place on a recent trip to Western Massachusetts with my wife to visit family. Even from the outside, this place is a behemoth. Walking in, with the wine to the center and right of you and the beer to the left, it almost remind me of the Total Wines in the DC area. The selection here though makes Total Wine look like a roadside stand. Incredible selection of American craft brews with many that are unavailable in my own area. The local brews are well represented as well with plenty of Berkshire, Pretty Things, etc. Looking further you can find Alesmith, Jolly Pumpkin, Lost Abbey, The Bruery (saw some lingering bottles of Papier), Middle Ages, Ballast Point, and then a lot of the more familiar ones in my area like Victory, Founders, etc.

One aisle over were the imports, and again, the selection was staggering. Plenty of Germany, England, and Belgium, and some beers I havn't seen in other stores before like the Urthel brews. My father-in-law and I had a tough time walking out of there as I could spend hours browsing and easily clean out a bank account in there. Having been up in the area before and only discovering it this past time, at least we can say we'll be back. Service is great with employees making rounds and answering any questions as well as making thoughtful recommendations.

Here's the deal. I brew and brewed a lot years ago. Last year I see my brewery in the basement and... had to brew again. Now I am checking out home brew clubs and I am hearing about beers that only Michael Jackson could'd known. Where do I turn to find what these fellows are talking about? With luck I stop in at Table and Vine about 20 miles away.

I am walking along and it is like... a who's, who of labels. Huge, continental section, vast array of American, Microbrewery offerings. I am stumped, what to do / what to get? I stop a clerk (Eric) stocking the shelves and he makes a few suggestions. Fine, thank you very much.

Two hours later, I get to a club and pull these out and I hear a murmur at the end of the table. Then silence. Then a club member says in a bright voice. If you're going to be brining those beers you can come whenever you want.

That, my beeradvocate friends, is what you want in an establishment. A selection of stock that is, fresh/new, easy to find, organized, open, thought-out, good lighting, well represented in style, variety, region... It's great.

I am blown away. I come back a week later and ask to see the manager of the beer section, remember this place is BIG. I tell him that I am impressed and (Tom) says if you are looking for anything we don't have give me a little time and I'll try to find it for you. Amazing I am telling him I am looking at a really super collection... He comes back with... If you're looking for more.

I give up. I have seen many places but this one is excellent. It takes the keg! Did anyone here goto the free keg tasting they had? 40 kegs, 10 free samples + grilled burgers and lots of nice specialty snacks. Thank you Big-Y

The internet always seems to be the place where people like to complain about a bad experience. Whether its about a restaurant, car dealership, or whatnot. Well, this is not one of those posts.
I called Table & Vine this past Thursday to find out if they had any Green Flash West Coast IPA, since they were out the last time I was there. And living 45 mins away, this isn't a place I just swing by. So when I called I got Eric on the phone and he told me that they only had a couple 6 packs left, but he could set one aside for me. I said that would be great, but I wouldnt be able to get there before Sunday. He said he wouldnt be there Sunday but that was fine and would have it for me at the Customer Service desk. And I asked if it was possible to set aside 2 6 packs since it was for my brother's b-day. That was no problem either. So when I got there at 2:00 on Sunday, I went to the beer aisle to see what else I might buy. They had Racer5 6 packs priced at $12.99 and 12 packs for $18.99. Well that was a no-brainer. I asked, I think his name was Griffin(?), if he had any 12 packs cold, since I could only see 6 packs in the cooler. He checked, but no luck. Oh well, I would just buy the 12 pack warm. Then less than a minute later, he came back up to me and said that he would put 2 cold 6 packs worth of beer in the 12 pack box for me, and take the warm from the 12 packs and put those in the 6ers in the cooler. Then I took the Racer5 to the Customer Service desk, and wating for me behind the desk was my Green Flash. Now all this is what I call top-notch customer service!

This place is a godsend! After all the local "beverage marts" here in Albany both jacked up their prices and were also forced to by the taxation nazis of NY State, thank God I can get to Table & Vine twice a month!

Prices: BEST in the area! Specials are REALLY special!

Service: Isle staff is GREAT! The friendly staff spends the time to help answer your question, even calling in others to help. The cashiers, however, need personality transplants. Desparately.

Selection: Outstanding - THE BEST! If it is brewed in ME, VT, MA, CT, RI, NH or NY you can find it here, as well as unusual beers from around the globe.

Value/Quality: from Coors Lite to Karmeliet! Prices are THE BEST - be it Sam Adams Utopia or Narragansett! No dust on the shelves here!

Just off the highway - DO NOT drive by. Save up friends and make the trip! Beer tastings frequently. They also have the best Scotch selection I've ever seen.

Looking at the beer selection in this place, your biggest problem will be deciding what to buy. They have a very impressive selection of beer from all over the world. They have two large supermarket sized ailes of bottles, four packs, six packs, and 12 packs. Many, many domestic microbreweries are represented, as well as lots of international offerings. The selection is quite impressive, especially for a place that caters more to the wine enthusiast. I have not seen a better selection in any store. They also sell some food, so you can pick up a snack for the munchies you'll get while drinking the beer you pick up here. Even for a such a large place, there always seems to be an employee close by asking if they can help you. The register lines can get long, but it's worth standing in line for a few minutes in order to shop here. I work in Springfield and am happy to have this place close by.
