Served at Ditto's in Litchfield, Conn.
A: A nice, deep ruby-amber color which retained a decent head and even left a bit of web-lacing behind.
S: Smells a little sweet and mostly of caramel malts with a bit of floral sweetness.
T: Taste is a fulfilling, slightly sticky sweet bread flavor up front, with toasted cereal malts and caramel tossed in with a little bit of herbal hop bitterness.
M: Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied and a sturdy drinking lager.
D: Has a decent flavor, a sessionable ABV and an ambiguous European feel just charming enough to keep you drinking it the whole night long.
I'm used to just seeing swing-top green bottles of Grolsch Euro lager on store shelves, so to see this clear-bottled beauty was a rare treat. Not the best beer to have all night, but it probably won't steer you wrong.

A: Pours an amber color with a nice head that fades slowly to lacing.
S: Aroma of roasted malt, caramel and not much else.
T: Mild taste of roasted malt and caramel sweetness. There is a mild bitterness and a dry finish.
F: medium body, some and creamy like texture. Nice balance.
O: Nice amber that goes down easy. Good for a few.

One of the lightest looking amber ales I've seen. Very light amber. Tan head though? Funky old aroma. Like a barn.
Taste, a little better, heavier than appearance would lead you to believe. Very smooth, lacking bitterness or hop character. Nutty. Is this an amber, alt or brown ale? Can't tell by drinking.
Overall, not my style, just tasted unadventurous, a solid malt beer for people who don't like hops or bitterness. Too pricey for me to drink when I'm not all that high on it to begin with.

Pours a deep but very clear amber color topped with a thin white head which fades quickly into a fine lacing around the glass. The nose is full of toasted malt aroma with hints of toffee and caramel. The flavor is also toasted and malty sweet with a moderately thin body and high carbonation levels. The finish is sweet and fades quickly to a clean end.
The key to this one is freshness. If you can find it somewhere still in the box, try it out. Otherwise its spoilled and hard to enjoy.
